What I don't get is how NY is such a blue state.

Everywhere I go..... work, home, family, friends, businesses, grocery stores, literally everywhere, when people are discussing issues or politics, they all seem to be conservative. Hell, even on this board there seems to be more cons that libs. Maybe I don't hang out in the ghetto cities or the universities enough.

You have to go to NYC. Most large cities are also blue.

mmmm Rochester is blue. Along with Brighton and I think Irondequoit. Most of the rest of Monroe county is conservative.

It's an employers market right now. The biggest killer right now is the conversion to part time employment. Not a fan of Big Brother Mandates but I'm disgusted by how much of this countries wealth is held by so few. I believe it's corporate malfeasance. But then, I'm I don't belong to the Board of Directors Club.

Good in theory, until you force a bunch of thugs back out on the street who now must resort to violent crime to survive since no one will hire them. Then even your gated community won't be safe.

yup and shows Monroe county as blue with red all around it. Monroe county is blue from mostly the city of Rochester. went looking for voter map, nope. errrrr
