Don't you think that maybe it's that just plain wrong?

Corporations are already heavily influencing corporations, but now the court says that in effect, the corporations can now buy all the politicians that they want?
Yet we as individuals can sue a corporation ,for lets say negligence, for AS MUCH as we wish. They are also required to pay taxes. Don't they then deserve the rights of any other taxpayer.

INDEED!
Paulson was given complete unfettered control over the first lump of TARP money, from which he immediately gave several hundred $M to a company in which he owned several $M stock. CONFLICT OF INTEREST!

And this bubble was inflated only to burst during the administration of the ones who are now in charge of doling out the STIMULUS FUNDS to banks etc.

Then as the TARP funds are repaid, they are considered for redisbursement into other (unauthorized by Congressional vote) 'projects' to 'stimulate' the economy.

And then there are the BANKS which say they have to pay bonuses to keep their people. Let their people go elsewhere if they want. If no bank pays a bonus for the duration of this recession, where will their erstwhile people go?

Let 'em all go to hell!

I've got an idea, why don't we let corporations vote. Halliburton would LOVE that! Better yet, let's just let them cast all the votes for all their employees too. For example, Mal-Mart has approximately 1.3 million US employees. Boom, 1.3 mil votes cast for the Republican candidate. Saves time, energy and the employees don't have to take time off from their fantastic jobs. They'd just waste their votes on Democrats anyway. So more power to Alito and the SCOTUS.

To say let corporations have a vote and THEN stretch that into the corporations voting for each of it's employees is a bit of a stretch on my comment, don't you think?

A labor union has indirect influence over how it's members vote. Are those wasted votes as well?

I like the part where he said we were going to double exports.. Sounds great, but what do we make in the good ole USA and export anymore? Oh and non- union/ profit bearing?

Obama seemed to be arrogant and angry but I must say I have been pleasantly suprised by how low pofile Michelle has been as First Lady, I expected her to be "in your face" like Hillary was but I am impressed with her. The President has not impressed me at all.

+1 Well said, Props to Mrs. M. O..
I expected Pres. bho to be smarted than "W".
bho's incompetence has impressed me most, and depressed me to think we have another 3 years of this abominable-obama. bho is in way over his head. His political machine can't seem to vett candidates properly before nominating them, resulting in choosing nominees who have outstanding debts to IRS (Geithner), among other foibles. Nothing other than incompetence, and more than once.

I hope someone can find a way to persuade Gen. Colin Powell to serve and to run in 2012.

He's going to double exports by driving the dollar further into the ground. President 0 has no clue. Witness his SotUA which was a rehashed campaign speech. He doesn't have the political savvy like Clinton to modify his policies because he IS an ideologue. An ideologue beholden to the left wing of the Socialist Democratic party. Even the Dems in NYC don't want the trial held there and almost everybody in both parties think the terrorists should be tried by the military now.

He should resign. I have more faith in Biden.
