Personally, I'd have kept my mouth shut about most of what he said. I think the looming strike was worthy of noting.

I don't know. Is their inner turmoil? I would think there has to to some degree. First the Etch-a-Sketch comment, now something even dumber. Besides not firing her got all the right wing nuts, HIS nuts I might add, blowing up the air waves and band width about it. Maybe the whole Republican Party has given up chess.

To me it seems more of a problem about picking good people to surround himself with. Of course there is the saving grace that he didn't choose Karl Rove and Donald Rumsfeld or anyone like them. They thought strategy, but they were savages not chess players. Something in between maybe? All I know if Romney doesn't stop fucking up, he'll loose an election that was handed to him.

What in THE fuck are you talking about and what supposedly went over my head?!? I’ve already said your summation of my stance is correct. Yes, she told the truth. Yes, she should be fired for it. IT’S POLITICS, and what she said was counter to purpose of her job which is to get her employer elected. When was the last time you knew someone that got fired for not doing a good job? People get fired for not getting along, breaking ranks or doing something stupid. She did two of the three.
