I'm certainly not leaving the country. I may be forced to leave Houston at some point. My guess the big cities will be war zones after the collapse. The welfare parasites will go feral very quickly after the government finally has to end the giveaways.
Here's a recent picture of rioting in Athens. This is what happens when the welfare checks stop coming.

Why do you think America is immune from financial mis-management and it's aftermath ?

America survives. America endures. We survived the great depression itself.

You've got your head in the sand, KarlMarxRoxny. It's simple math. We cannot continue spending money we don't have, and not have ramifications. If you think things will continue along as usual, with nothing negative happening, you're an idiot.

So you don't think our deficits and debt are financial mis-management ?
Make no mistake. America survives. But it will be ugly and not the America you will like.

If you think the US is going to have a complete financial collapse in 2 years...then you are the idiot.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. We are on borrowed time, along with borrowed money.
What do you think will happen, KarlMarxRoxny, if we keep adding to the national debt at the rate of $1 trillion per year? Nothing? Prosperity? Just what do you think will happen?

Everyone is holding with the too big to fail concept. There isn't anyone to bail US out. Who would anyway? The EU? No, they have their own fish to fry and besides, why bail out the competition. China? No, they have their own problems if we don't pay them back. They have their own problems if we inflate the debt away. In fact it would make us their enemy.
No, spending needs to be cut and revenue raised. That's just how it works. Everybody thinks the more money you have the more you should spend. True to a point, but it is also more money you must invest. You can't spend or save your way to wealth and that goes for nations too.

What makes you think we won't deal with the debt and the spending? You are so confident that we will fail?
Again I say, Oh ye of little faith.
See you in 2 years buddy.

The so called Great Depression will seem like a cake walk compared to what's coming. The depression could have lasted a couple of years if it hadn't been for FDR's idiotic policies.
You don't seem to understand that our current situation is unprecedented in American history. We've never had this kind of debt before. Neither has any country in the history of the world for that matter. The real debt is the unfunded liabilites which are over TWO HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS.
Get your head out of the sand.

No doubt OH, America is the 800 pound gorilla. But when we fail, there isn't anyone who can prop our economy up....
We will have to cut deals with our creditors. The terms they dictate to us will be a bitter pill. It will be very ugly for most Americans !
We will end up negotiating away our country, sovereignty, and likely most of our national wealth. Our creditors, many who despise us, will not be lenient. They will not treat us as we treated Argentina, Mexico, or Russia when we bailed them out.

This from the same guy that was predicting a Romney landslide win and quoting "unskewed" polls to back it up.
Forgive me if I don't find your predictions credible.
