You got that right. Eating at Famous Dave's is about as much fun as getting kicked in the nuts. The only thing worth eating there is the corn muffin. I did not even put it on my list, because it does not actually qualify as a BBQ joint in my opinion.

Famous Dave's is unobjectionable place to take out-of-towners so you don't have to cook dinner in your house. Basically, a TGI Fridays that has ribs.

It's a clean nice looking place, has pretty decent hours, and the staff are generally pretty ok. The food is on the expensive side for being mediocre, but it's entry-level Q, and is consistent.

Never been to Famous Dave's, but if it is anything like Tony Roma's, I'll take the getting kicked in the nuts before I eat there. My favorite, Zarda's. Love their sauce.

Just went to Famous Dave's. The burnt ends and ribs were pretty good, but it ain't cheap. Still can't hold a candle to real KC cue.

I hope everyone is talking only about the original Bryant's off Truman near downtown. There are others that are just licensed for the name. I don't call these the same.
