Alan Dershowitz says attempt to get Trump off 2024 ballot is a 'grave danger' to the Constitution
Harvard Law School Professor Emeritus Alan Dershowitz says the attempt to get former President Donald Trump off the 2024 ballot is a "grave danger" to the U.S. Constitution.
That's a grave danger to our Constitution, and if that happens, I think I can be called out of retirement and be counted on to take an active role in preventing that injustice from occurring to all Americans," Dershowitz said on the Tuesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
There have been reports of activist groups putting together a campaign to keep Trump off the ballot in 2024 under the 14th Amendment.

Fair question but my comment was more to the person themselves.
"who as individuals are also seeking their share of Liberty in America."
As an example I would offer this:
"Sen. Jason Rapert and the National Association of Christian Lawmakers have begun working on legislation that would ban people crossing state lines for abortions."
This is an attempt to usurp the personal Liberty of individuals and nullify state's rights. Dershowitz has shown the ability to denounce an action while supporting the right to pursue legal avenues available.

Regardless of Alan Dershowitz politics, He's still an attorney. The goal of any attorney is to find wiggle room in the law. Whether guilty or innocent they're paid to try to find the application of gray and reasonable doubt.
So I guess the question would be is who is Alan Dershowitz client? He seems to be only on one network, and they are paying him to appear on that network. So it seems to me he represents their interest (FOX news)- and thus will find for that preferred candidate. Just as he did prior on the dream team for OJ Simpson.
However since you mentioned Gore - the big difference between Al, and Donald, is that Al Gore did concede in the end. Because he was told that even if the votes were there, they wouldn't be counted after the state of Florida finalized and cast their electoral votes. And he did not instigate or say things like you got to fight like hell... So there's that. There's nothing wrong with looking for votes, but it's a totally different ask, for you to disenfranchise voters who cast votes simply because someone can't accept losing.

1. Please show proof that Fox News is a client of Dershowitz
2. Please enlighten us with who Fox news preferred candidate is, with proof to support your assertion
Or just admit you have no clue what you are alluding to

Crickets. Why am I not surprised when leftists make false statements and can't provide any proof to support them?

Please show any shred of proof that the 2020 election was rigged. Oof... crickets.
Meanwhile here is another clip of Dershowitz (co-inky-dinky from Fox Business) supporting Trump in his effort to run for re-election.

[QUOTE=DNinja69;1063282970]Please show any shred of proof that the 2020 election was rigged. Oof... crickets.
Any shred of proof? ... In PA, they changed the vote-counting
rules the day AFTER the election... Allowing ballots that
didn't have proper date and signature.
You must have missed that... (one way to rig the election)
Here's another - the FBI/DOJ and candidate Biden ALL
OUTRIGHT LYING about Hunter's laptop.
(another way to rig the election)
See? ... Proof.
... Why don't we ask Mr. Dershowitz what he thinks
of the two instances that I mentioned.
Wouldn't you like to hear HIS answer?

You obviously haven't paid attention to various threads that have been posted here by myself, Salty, Bam and others providing a host of evidence
So the question becomes is that due to a lack of reading comprehension, too much TDS causing one to ignore actual facts, or just plain denial?

Berry weren't you quoting the rules recently in another thread? Maybe for you calling others stupid and ill-informed are terms of endearment? I'm not crying just making an observation. Care to call me a liar again for again telling you that I voted for Trump? My commentary isn't because I don't believe he can be a great President. It's because my eyes are not equipped with right-wing blinders that render me incapable of holding the man accountable.
You say I attacked Dershowitz which is hilarious because all I did was disagree with you. You could definitely learn some things from him in the area of looking outside the party lines for truth.
On the subject of proof that is a legal requirement. It does not mean prove to you. It means proof that would meet a standard in a courtroom. How many cases did Trump bring? How many were able to pass the initial phase into anything resembling a trial? Nope.
You decided that Dershowitz was a name that could be used to help your defense of Trump which is a bit ironic since the man clearly does not believe the 2020 election was stolen. Here are some quotes (also from an appearance on Fox News...Oof) from 2021:
Dershowitz told Hannity the presidential election may not have been perfect, but he argued that previous elections also had problems.
"Number one, there has never been a perfect election," Dershowitz said.
"JFK's election wasn't perfect, George Bush's election wasn't perfect, and the current election wasn't perfect."
"Number two, the evidence seems to strongly suggest that it wasn't stolen and that the outcome was right," he added.
Does that just make AD an ill-informed leftist? I find his comments pretty spot on myself. Not because they mirror mine but because the support a conclusion reached by looking at evidence. Dershowitz is willing to stand up for Trump against all his indictments despite finding no truth in the 'stolen election' fairy tale.

At 10:00 PM in Pa Trump was leading. Vote counting was shut down for the night.
The next day Trump lost Pa. This is just one example why the elections are no longer trusted..
We may right now be like China, North Korea, Russia and Brazil. Liberals, once the Elites know they have full power of the DOJ, FBI and IRS with no pushback from elected officials of the other side they will come after you.
87,000 additional IRS people to come after everyone which includes you!
This is when you’ll realize you’ve been used and had, you will be the ones shocked, have at it!
3 branches are good for everyone to keep the balance of power in check.
When we’ve lost that check in power we’ve all will have lost.

Who's leading at 10pm doesn't matter. Red herring. It's who leads once all the votes are counted AND the vote is certified.
The whole notion we've fallen into about knowing the winner the night of is a trap that you've been sucked into by the media's projections as folks clamor to be the first to analyze the unofficial results.
This why certification doesn't happen next day. It's why there are processes to cure. On recounts. On challenges.
Dershowitz would agree that all legal votes should be counted.

Trump was leading, but then he lost. And? Ever watch a basketball game? Do they call it on the 2 minute TV timeout? Or does the last minute count? If that is a reason you don't trust elections the issue isn't with the process. Sorry.
As Dershowitz said there are always issues and with just the vast billion$ spent in a Presidential race we should expect attempts in multiple states to nudge the results one way or another. I say nudge because Biden tallied a win margin in popular vote near the population of Houston Texas.
Not sure where you got the idea I support Biden. Didn't vote for him. Think he is a buffoon. But he was not in charge of the DOJ or any other federal entity in the years leading up to the election you believe some boogeymen took from Trump.
Post debate I agree the choices on stage are not promising if the idea is beating Biden so Trump is again the frontrunner. It is an unfortunate situation and even the accomplished Dershowitz won't prevent the former President from standing trial and likely being convicted on a few counts.

It's because everything you post is lies, bullshit, and conspiracy theories from radical far-right extremist websites and Twitter accounts. Totally and completely out of touch with reality.
