Thanks….?
Not sure why pointing out the obvious tendency toward violence for any particular holiday, or any particular anything, makes me a “brave boy”. But whatever.

Why is it not surprising you don't understand these simple facts?
12 killed, more than 100 shot in Juneteenth celebrations across the US. The shootings ranged across multiple cities and states, including Chicago, Milwaukee, Washington, Pennsylvania, St. Louis, Baltimore, Idaho, and Southern California.
Do you dispute these facts?

Sounds like you’re not the only one that doesn’t want to celebrate a holiday celebrating the end of slavery.

Do facts bother you? 12 killed, more than 100 shot in Juneteenth celebrations across the US.
You would have to ask all the Juneteenth celebrants why they celebrated by shooting each other. Did they first wish each other Happy Juneteenth before shooting each other?

Which do you think is more likely? The people celebrating Juneteenth shot each other, or the people, like yourself, that are livid that a holiday celebrating the end of slavery exists shot some people.

It's not a me problem. The topic is a holiday celebrating the end of the systematic enslavement of black people by the United States of America. It automatically defaults to race and has everything to do with it. Some people are angry that it's a holiday, which is pretty sad, and honestly the topic was really just happy Juneteenth, but some people couldn't help themselves and had to try and tarnish it. I guess after the Memorial Day post, I shouldn't be surprised. I'm actually surprised that the Fathers Day thread made it through unscathed. Fourth of July isn't too far off now. Let's see what you guys come up with for that. LOL

Clearly the former. The later would be the lead story on every channel and first page, above the fold of the New York Times.

In 2020, 59 people were murdered per day in this country. The number is surely similar so far this year. Rationally speaking, it's nothing more than the law of averages, but you're blaming millions of innocent people for the actions of less than 100 people. There is no logic in that line of thinking. Do facts bother you?

The question is why you would reply to a “happy Juneteenth” post with stories of violent incidents. These things happen every holiday weekend, yet if there were a post about any other holiday, it’s highly unlikely you would try to link the violence to the holiday itself.
You try to be coy and play with plausible deniability, but you aren’t smart enough to pull it off.

Only an idiot would believe it is the latter. Because if that was the case there would be 24/7 news coverage on every network reporting on it.
The DNC media, like some here, just loves to trot out their false racism claims. The fact that they haven't tells you all you need to know that the people celebrating Juneteenth shot each other

Nice try to deflect from the facts and why Juneteenth celebrants celebrated by shooting each other.
You just can't handle the truth. 12 killed, more than 100 shot in Juneteenth celebrations across the US.

Because the thread was about Juneteenth and it was relevant to the discussion. Not sure why you think people who were celebrating Juneteeenth killing 12 and injuring 100 others is acceptable

There’s more violent videos coming out every hour. LA was a shitshow. People from their own community begging their own people to do better.

The truth is that you blamed millions for the actions of less than 100, and all the reasonable people reading this know why you did.

The post was happy Juneteenth. Your posts were not relevant. It would be like going to a birthday party, and while everyone else is singing happy birthday, you're shouting over them to the birthday boy or girl, "hey, your fourth cousin robbed a bank this morning." Again, we know why you did what you did.
