I’ve been a massage therapist almost 8 years. I usually listen to the clients body to work problem areas. I typically recommend and pay extra attention to glutes (which helps with lower back pain) as well as feet. One thing I struggled with at first in clinic was getting the entire body massaged. I don't want to rush anything, especially when I find the adhesions. I'm of the opinion that an hour session really isn't long enough to give a proper massage, hitting all the areas of tension, and the relaxing ending.
