IB, sounds good, but - WRONG AGAIN! Percentage of debt held by the public? Big F*cking Deal! Just another meaningless bit of statistical "truthiness." BTW, if one looks closely at the point where we are in your graph it can be seen that it's not the highest. Also, as it always the case, when income rises, the line falls. Now, who is trying to keep the income down? Yep, it's you TPunk Parrotriots all whored-up to guard the corporatists in order for them to give their tax dollars to other countries. Talk about patriotism. You guys are really right up there with the Founding Fathers, aren't you?

Now remember that the Dims controlled both houses of Congress from January 2007 until January 2011 in addition to controlling the executive branch from 2009 through to 2013. Since 2009, the Dims still control one house of Congress and the executive branch.

But if you wish to persist in denying the obvious, please explain in detail how unemployed workers can continue to pay taxes into the government coffers when the workers have no income. Please explain how increased unemployment contributes to increased GDP. Finally, please explain how increased social welfare spending reduces debt.

NOTE:
Anyone in the peanut gallery claiming -- like Huffy, Odumbo and Slick Willie -- that it's all "Bush's fault", s/he is a liar. Bush 43's tax cuts in conjunction with the two wars were sustainable and added on only 5% (from Clinton's 35% to Bush 43's 40%) to the debt/GDP ratio. What made the government debt/GDP ratio unsustainable was the housing market collapse in 2008. By 2010, under Odumbo, the debt/GDP ratio went to an increasingly unsustainable rate of 63%.

One more note: Republicans wrote the 1999 Financial Services Modernization Act, and one of Odumbo's original financial advisers (who had also worked for Slick Willie) promoted the Act as necessary for expediting the housing of the poor. So, everyone's fingerprints are all over that travesty. But to date, no one has fixed the real problems, reinstating something akin to Glass-Steagall, to keep it from happening again.

Democrats are on a roll because it's well deserved. Anyone that is smart can see that. The mere fact that Obama has Clinton on his side is a truth. Let's take a look at the kind of government that founded this Country!
