Interesting how people who are experts in the field of assessing the accomplishments of past presidents disagree with you. But I'm sure you have a background in Political Science that would put you in a position to fairly assess the 45 presidents. FAIRLY is the key word.

You still have not responded to my rather simple questions. If Bannon is correct Trump will have to win states that he lost in 2016. In his reason why Trump will win again in 2020, Bannon cites the economy as the primary reason. It had no impact in the 2018 midterms and may possibly have a downturn before the 2020 elections. So much for Bannon, a guy who has been dissed by Trump. "Sloppy Steve".

So the questions for you are:

1. What state or states will Trump win that he lost in 2016?

2. The only states that are currently considered "Tossup" states are Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Florida. Trump won all 5 in 2016 but Republicans lost the popular vote big time in all of those states but Florida in the 2018 mid-terms. Why do you think Trump will win in those 4 states again? I know, it's because he has "big balls". I doubt that will have much impact on suburban women voters who rejected Trump in the 2018 midterms big time.

It looks like it will be Iowa and Wisconsin will trouble for the dems. It really will depend who the dems put up for the nomination. But good luck to them if they think selling socialism to middle America will work.

I've never mentioned Iowa as a swing state. Yes, Wisconsin is very important to Democrats winning back the presidency.

I'm not sure if you really read the article and understood what it is saying. The article clearly states that Trump would lose if the election was held today. Iowa and Wisconsin are 2 states that have the possibility of Trump improving his approval rating enough to make them competitive. Right now they are leaning Democratic but the approval rating for Trump in those 2 states is better than the national average. If you think the article is positive for Trump, well . . .

And you continue to ignore my other question -- if you see Trump doing better in 2020 than in 2016, which states do you see going Republican that were Democratic?

I'll be happy to answer your question as soon as I know who the Dems pick as as their Presidential and Vice Presidential nominees are. That's the ticket there. Whomever they pick - they will have to try and encompass all Americans or at least the majority to win and with their social agenda I just don't see that happening. I may be wrong but I just can't picture ordinary,working class Americans who need to put food on the table for their families every day voting for the dems progressive agenda. Now the "elites" yeah - they have those votes. But it will be interesting to see if Trump can win in some of the states he lost in 2016.

And my meme should install fear in every American. Unless you want socialism - and that's what it is - then vote Trump- or live with the consequences.

Jeeze, all the R's have to do is show a pic of A.O.C. to middle America and they'll go running to the the voting booth to vote for Trump.

I am slightly left of center politically. I am not a socialist in any way. There are more issues on the political table than those that can be broken down into socialist vs. non-socialist. I support helping those less fortunate than myself in areas such as health care. That does not make me socialist. I support immigration policies that do not give preference to one type of people over another based on whether or not they come from "shit-hole countries". That does not make me a socialist. The one part of the recent new tax reform law I support is lowering the Corporate tax. That definitely does not make me a socialist. Social Security is socialism and I thank those that passed the law every month. Not all socialism is automatically evil.


Obama was in office for 8 years. Please tell me what was done during his administration that made the country more socialistic? Don't mention Obamacare because you would be wrong.

You keep mentioning AOC. She will not have an impact on voters in 2020 to any extent. You keep mentioning middle America. That is Trump country right now and will stay that way in 2020.
