I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. My understanding is that the pills help with blood flow after the first pop just as well as before the first pop. It helps until it wears off over time, regardless of how many times you pop.

The generic has been available for a while now, but in lower strength 20mg tablets. Depending on the strength you need, you need to take from 2 to 5 tablets. Cheap if you use GoodRx to find the best pharmacy, but you still need a prescription.
