No one is persecuting gay people in the United States. Really, you don’t want to see them, know them, be around them, serve them, employ them, marry them or grant them the exact same rights and liberties that you yourself and others that think as you do demand and enjoy. What would you call that?
In fact, I would say that it is the Christian who is not allowed to fully practice their religion...by gay activists! So how many Christians have gays attacked, how many churches have gays shut down, how many Christians have been fired by gays for being Christians, how many Christians have been refused service by gays due to them being Christian? Christianity is a belief which is unstoppable, but it is NOT the law of the land no matter how much you wish the parts that suit your ideals were. Of course you deviated from the OP. In my first post I responded directly to your post by saying they should strive for every right they can achieve, why shouldn’t they, you would. In later posts I directed my posts at other posts made that were equally not directly your topic, blame me, best blame them also. A decade ago public opinion approved of the idea of partners rights for gay people (healthcare, hospital visits, inheritance, etc.) when suddenly, it was no longer enough. Would it be to you? You get to marry, they get a civil union and partners rights, why do they deserve less than you get? They wanted to change the very definition of marriage. News flash, this has happened before maybe look up Loveing v. Virginia. Just a little case where the states also used race to define marriage. Oh and don’t try to use Roberts argument against this it’s weak. There has not been a long stand historical legal definition of marriage, it was a long standing assumed one. No one, NO ONE, denied them the right to get married just like everyone else but marriage was defined as a joining of a man and a woman, period. They were denied it on an assumed definition NOT a legally binding one. One that if traced back allowed no legal standing for women in the marriage, they were essentially chattel. The greatest thing about this country is the laws can and will change no matter how painful it might be for those stuck in the past or blinded by their narrow views. This little trick by the Supremes changed the definition a word but did not create equality. In fact, it created another inequality. How long before someone wants to marry their sister, mother, brother, dog, cat, or two or more partners. If they can argue a good enough case to change the law to allow it, so be it, as I said it’s the great thing about this country Since the Supremes can change what a word means (Roberts said that this was not supported by the Constitution) why not do it again. The meaning of marriage didn’t change, the legal definition did. Still the OP is about that gay people are still not happy and have moved the goal posts again. People like you dutifully follow along because you don't think, you feel.

Yet again I will say, that gays and lesbians should strive forward to achieve all the rights and liberties they can attain within the laws of these United States and shouldn’t they? Hell, some of this nations greatest achievements were because people didn’t just settle for the given they pursued more!
People like me realize and understand that the world is not a fixed, it’s a fluid and evolving thing and rather than get pissed off about being steamrolled by it, I learn to flow with it, both in what I do like and don’t. Isn’t America great!!!

I don't really care about what the faggots do in private though I think it is bad for the country in general and should be discouraged.

They are certainly a detriment to unit cohesiveness in the military.

They are getting special rights - such as being able to force someone to serve them who doesn't want to - how the fuck is that not construed as slavery? If a motherfucker comes into my bakery, I should not have to bake them a motherfucking cake if I don't want to do so. How can you people not understand that?

Further, I should have freedom of association and not have to be around them in my private business. BTW, why don't you go to your local mosque and enlighten those people about gay rights - if you are brave enough to do it.
Object all you want, truth is, it still changes nothing for you at all.

Spoken like a true ignorant bigot

Mostly due to ignorant bigots like you

When you open a business to public, don't bitch when the public comes to your business, don't want to serve or cater to them, don't open a business.

You are free to associate with who ever you like, but you aren't allowed to discriminate.
Should I or anyone else be allowed to not serve or hire you because you are a bigot?

Those people in that mosque are free to have their religious beliefs, but if they break the laws they are held to the same standard as you or I.

Your bigotry and ignorance were expected, thank you for not disappointing me.

They get government benefits and others now if they can find someone to marry them, that is about all it does.
Stay tuned for part II... you know it will NEVER END, right?

I want the freedom to serve whoever I want. It is just a fucking bakery.

If someone doesn't want to serve me, I will go somewhere else, you stupid asshole. They have that right.

Discrimination happens throughout life. I'm sure you discriminate against fat, ugly faggots when you aren't drunk and horny and will fuck any guy who bends over.

It's for sure that shammy enjoyed it. You can bet that he and woomby were there in their full BLOWN regalia of high heels, rainbow thongs and mascara, waving their rainbow flags, handing out invitations to their wedding and their business cards for their glory hole at Talleywackers. And when they weren't hand-in-hand walking the parade, they were hand-and-lips-to-cock on each other or their fellow peter puffers. I wondered why the post on this board were so quite earlier.

How does someone in "a diner or other public accommodation" ...

That would be my question as well.

You have that freedom, don't open a fucking bakery or anything else to the general public

I truly doubt with how you are acting here that you'd stand for that being done to you, you're the type that would demand to be served and end up escorted out of the establishment by a cop

Yes, discrimination happens, doesn't make it just or right which is why we have laws against it

all this hate and rage, what happen, did your one girlfriend leave you for a lesbian?

And yet again.........all of it spoken like a true closet homo ignorant bigot

I'm all for gays getting married. I'm opposed to the government having any role in marriage. This decision will have effects far beyond gay marriage. It's a very frightening decision.

But be happy, anyway. The country is going to hell, but if you focus on it, you'll be miserable. Observe from the outside, and enjoy life. While that is still allowed.

So what you are saying is, you've got nothing but rather than just admit that, you hurl an insult, declare victory and run away.

You seem to have no issue taking their freedom away, so why should your freedom be any more important?

I doubt you see how that works, most ignorant bigots don't.

You throw that word around a lot don't you? BIGOT! My experience is that people who just throw it around willy-nilly are probably guilty of being just that. Who had their freedom taken away? Give an example. The other choice is that you NOW feel free to be who you really are. So now you can go cruise the trannie pages (or have you gone all gay on us?) without feeling guilty anymore. B-bye
