im sorry but dont ever ignore Your babies cries it is the only warning they have when something is wrongs. SIDS is very real, and its when You dont hear their cry You need to check on them the very most. They can easily choke on formula, spit up etc, and they can not hold their own heads up in the beg blocking passage ways for air. Not trying to be difficult but never ignore a baby's cries, esp in the first 6 months. i think its natural anyways for one to not let baby out of Your sight for the first 1/2 year, hence the craddle bassinets with wheels. Where ever i went, baby went too, loading the dishwasher, babys in tha kitchen, laundry, babys in the laundry room, sleeping...babys on my chest next to my heartbeat.

I wasnt saying ignore them most definalty not...but after 2 hours of non stop sreaming crying from colic and your losing your mind nothing wrong with the headphones..with constatnt checking...Never ignore ever I am talking after you have done everything you need to first

have You ever cried so much or hurt so bad that it eventually leads to vomiting? this is fairly normal. Thats what baby monitors are for, to monitor that crying, a crying babys is usually a healthy baby. Its the first thing they listen for from the second of birth.

Yes I have..I also had a colicy baby that lasted 11 months and after alot of testing and being told that she will just cry and cry no matter what..for 6-8 hours everyday....thats where I was coming from....I am in no way saying not to keep a visual eye on the baby but toning it out every once in a while is ok.....I speak from experience and many years of infant/child education

Yeah i have 13 years in it myself, lol. If You need a break get baby to grandma, and i must have misunderstood keeping a visual on the baby by the way You said to check on them every 10-15 mins. We're all different Your entitled to Your opinion, as i am to mine. No fighting over a cyber baby.

some are naturally born to breast feed and others must work it. Nipples need stimulation in order for milk ducts to work. I purchased 3 pumps in past. Enjoy pregnancy and baby. I is a true blessing in disguise when you let go of all the other bs that comes with it.

oh, and it is okay to have sex in the 3rd trimester......

Our baby was colicy, we tried changing formula and everything. Turns out, he was diagnosed with acid reflux a few years later. I think that was the problem all along. But he also cried non-stop when his mother was away. I became so scared he would hurt himself from the crying. I never felt so helpless in my life. All it took to calm him was laying his head against a female breast.

I will always love my neighbor for coming over to calm him.

I hope you took prenatal during your term. Folic acid during pregnancy has been questionable.
Consider breastfeeding for child bonding and has always been healthy for the child
Start now to find a good caregiver Agencies are good but you can possibly find a good one in your neighborhood with references
Start now with a small savings account for the child. Build up to a CD then place in Vanguard
Do not spend a lot on expensive clothing because the child will grow fast VERY
New mothers should be with the child at a min. of 3 months for good bonding
