Please don't get a tattoo based on anyone else's, ESP a guy's opinion, and love, if you seriously have to ask "what tattoos are acceptable?", then perhaps you need to re-evaluate getting one all together..

Same for me Sarah, I'm not a big tattoo fan. But when I'm with a beautiful, smokin' hot lady who is way out of my league (Valerie) that excites me to no end and she has a couple of tattoos, suddenly I'm very open minded....go figure!! By looking at your showcase, something tells me I wouldn't mind your ink....not one bit!!!

Sweetie . . .
You have received lots of great advise. Just keep in mind that a tattoo is a form of expression. It should represent something special to you, which only YOU can determine what "special" is. Give it plenty of thought and be sure that whether it's the next day or 20 or 30 years later . . you have no regrets.
If it's something that you want for your own satisfaction . . then I recommend something tasteful and in a discreet location. Unfortunately, physical appearance is judged; therefore, you wouldn't want to miss a great opportunity someday because of a personal satisfaction today.
BTW, if you do decide to get the tattoo, wear it proud. Even if it's for your eyes only. Which in this case it's not; however, you still choose who gets to see it.
Good luck with you decision.

Seems like angel wings tattooed on the shoulder blades is the new tramp stamp. A good rule of thumb is that if you can choose it off the wall of the tattoo shop you shouldn't get it. Keep it original!
