Homeland Security and local police could easily get many felony arrests and it would be naive to believe they aren't doing this very thing right now.

That sounds like waaaaay too much work for State/Local LE...when all they have to do is run a cheap ad and book a $49 room.

The Feds would have to get involved in the P411's of the world.

Anyone can make their caller ID to show up as someone else’s #. Anyone can tap emails, especially proton emails that is linked to gmail or yahoo mail.
Don’t you think LE can’t? All they need is probable cause (advertising P411, OH2 and else) to tap anything or anyone’s info. Right now OH2 is probably easiest target since it is the least secured site.

Thanks for the info. Interestingly, the fbi report involved them busting P411 escorts back in 2013. It’s interesting in the post FOSTA/SESTA era the feds have shown little interest in using the new law to shut that site down.

It looks like the Phoenix stories primarily relate back to the Sheriff Joe days, and I remember hearing way over here when he started cracking down on the hobby. That guy was a nut job, and I’m not sure our local sheriff is quite up to that level of obsession. Ken Paxton, though, might be.

The lessons for me are two things that I’ve stated several times: first, keep your correspondence limited to where and when. Second, if something doesn’t feel right in your interactions prior to a date, or if a regular all of a sudden does something out of character, be on your guard.

I agree TinMan and sometimes it's a real bitch. I had an SB that I saw several years ago - 3+. The best I have ever had. Suddenly hit me up yesterday. I want to go back REALLY BAD. But this new law thing has me walking on pins/needles. I have txt her numerous times since she hit me up and hinted we should meet up again without saying anything specific. I'm trying to get her to say something that will show that I'm not the aggressor. She responds to all txts But so far I am getting nothing about "coming over" from her. Fucking law!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My memory is getting hazy, but there was also a similar incident in Oklahoma around the same time frame as the Colorado incident and Oklahoma was removed from P411 for a while as a result. But Googling brings back nothing.
