Let me remind you that Bernie Sanders was marching along side Civil Rights leaders such as Dr. MLK Jr to give us minorities rights including integration, access, fighting disenfranchisement of Jim Crow era abuses of the rights that should of been given to us post the Thirteenth-Fifteenth amendments. In addition, Bernie was rated favorably by the NRA. He's more patriotic than people claiming to love this country.

Now if the players want to donate their time or money to help the black kids growing up without dads to be role models for them or donate money to get them educated. Now that will have a lasting impact.

I'm liberal but I'm not a Bernie Fan. From what I've been reading, he might get wrapped up in all of this Russian influence investigation. One of the guys named in an indictment worked on Bernies campaign. Back to the main topic. The NFL has a brand to protect and fans on the both sides. This is a no win situation for them that was created by a player with a voice speaking up for the people that don't have a voice. He paid a price for it and lost his job. You could say Kap lost the most but he got the NFL to pledge 100 million over 7 years to different social justice causes. I don't know many people that would face losing their job for something one person can't obviously fix. That's pretty courageous

The players already do this through their own foundations or organizations that help towards health situations to inner cities that represent the underserved.

The fines a player accrues goes towards charities fyi.
