Come on now Salty have you never been called a cracker? I lost count the number of times I have been called this. And as numerous posters have mentioned it seems as though it was a fight between drunks and a worker at the dock.

according to the article these boaters had tied up their boats in a restricted space reserved for a City owned riverboat. the city employee told the boaters to move so the riverboat could dock. they didn't like it and started an argument. end of story.

Ok, I get it Winn Dixie. I googled something like “Montgomery Alabama Fight Video.” There’s a Twitter link with three videos in the same tweet. And they’re disturbing. It looks like several whites started in on the black official, as you can see in McCain’s video. Then blacks started beating whites. Sad. The only heroes are the police. Agreed, the boaters started it, and got more than they bargained for.

Mingus was something else back in the day. A straight stretch of road, four or five bars and clubs, and big crowds on Friday and Saturday nights because everyplace else within 40 miles was dry (no bars, no alcohol).

Once I discovered Ciudad Acuna there was no going back to Mingus though. You shell out $80 and you could bang a hottie instead of a fattie! That was a life altering discovery.

Thanks for providing the link, TWK. It certainly provided more context but I still don't see how this remotely constitutes any hate crimes. My only takeaway is that men in Montgomery, AL hit the same way as the women in Montgomery, AL. For fucks sake, where did these men learn how to throw a punch? LOL

Edit: the brawl in the video after was a big nothing too. Not sure WD how you call this stupid shit a hate crime. It just seems like folks having some summer redneck fun at the marina to me. I just see it as blacks and whites bonding after too many drinks on a Saturday on the lake/river during happy hour in Alabama.

it's not a hate crime. it's just some rednecks being assholes while boating. they probably would have started an argument if the city personnel was white. these guys would fight their brother for the last beer. (probably not Bud light bahhaa)

i've had two speedboats over the years and i've seen plenty of fights at boat ramps and docks. happens all the time.
