Why aren't the other bakeries having the same problem? The sales of Twinkies and their other snacks had been on the decline for some time. It was only a matter of time before they reached this point where they needed give backs from the union.

The problem Hostess had was that most of what they made was bad for you. If you start eating healthy the first thing you do is cut out Twinkies and Wonder Bread.

In most cities cupcakes and doughnuts are a food trend, along with hamburgers and hot dogs.
