No matter your political zealousness, either way…….legalizing and licensing sex workers makes way to much sense.

It creates a way for a healthier situation for everyone involved, it creates a revenue stream for state and federal governments to fund needed infrastructure and health programs. It would provide for oversight of the industry to make it safer for providers and their clients.

It would also create jobs in the oversight departments needed to regulate the industry.

Makes too much sense, so it will go nowhere.

Trafficking is an ethnic religious thing, typically involving muslims and asians. These girls are imported here legally or illegally at the cost of the traffickers in order to make money on their investments. Them applying for a business license and paying taxes with open doors will not affect them, they do their business in the open because the girls have no choice, they do not know of any other life.

Of course its not only limited to brown people, it happens with white american girls too, which are controlled and manipulated with drugs, as long as they can get high they are all about it.

I see no reduction in any illegal businesses that become legal, the paperwork will just get done by Trumps tax team and everything would move along, most paying the proper tax or close to it and a small percentage who will lie and not pay the amount they really owe, but to think that legalizing something with little to no cost, like drugs or prostitution will ruin the business of cartels is ignorant.

TAX FUCKING, Yes, its income and subject to a tax, like any other income, it shouldnt even be a partisan issue.

I for one am proud of the Dems trying to increase the treasury of the USA to pay for the programs we provide, the whole Norquist Pledge of Republicans has been the worst most harmful policy ever created.

People with religion aren't religious organizations. Many tax exempt organizations lobby their own causes, not just religious organizations. Fighting for a cause or belief does not make it part of the state.
The separation of church and state clause separates church from state, but not religion from politics. But the government is prohibited from favoring one religious view over another or even favoring religion over non-religion.
