You think that mic was open only to the U.S. media?
And don't you think they heard Rev. Wright who was his preacher who he failed to dismiss and from whom he failed to distance himself ... as he and his wife trashed this country? Not only did he trash the West, but the U.S.

In 2011, the administration gave approval for Rosatom’s Tenex subsidiary to sell commercial uranium to U.S. nuclear power plants in a partnership with the United States Enrichment Corp. Before then, Tenex had been limited to selling U.S. nuclear power plants reprocessed uranium recovered from dismantled Soviet nuclear weapons under the 1990s Megatons to Megawatts peace program.
Btw, isn't Putkin our friend? He helped Trump get elected right?

Yes, it take a massive infrastructure to produce fissionable material. But given the fact that North Korea, ( and possibly a few other Countries), are willing to aid Iran, I would say they are within a few years of having enough to manufacture enough 20 kiloton Fission bombs to hold the World hostage.
Keep in mind. Once you have a Fission Bomb, the next step to building a true Thermo Nuclear Device becomes much easier. Then, you aren't talking kilotons, you're talking megatons.

Jackie, Iran had enriched Uranium to a weapons grade concentration before the USA signed the Iran nuclear deal. Iran had to give up their U235 at 20% concentration before we gave them their money back. The most efficient centrifuges are deactivated and moved to a facility that is being monitored 24/7 in real time. Trump has signed a document stating that Iran is in compliance with the deal, not once but twice since he took office. I agree with you on North Korea, they are further along and have weapons grade U235/ Plutonium.

"Years", flighty? It's been years, and the U.S. went from zilch to nuclear capable in six years (1939 to 1945), flighty.

Iran and North Korea's nuclear trade
Sunday 28 November 2010 13.21 EST
The US insisted that China act "urgently" to halt a transshipment of ballistic missile components from North Korea to Iran via Beijing and complained that at least 10 similar missile-related deliveries had been allowed to proceed unhindered.
The US also accused Chinese firms in May last year of supplying Iran with a key chemical weapons precursor and assistance with operating a chemical manufacturing plant.

In the summer of 2001, an AOL poll said most Americans did not believe there was any threat to the US from internationaL terrorism. In other works, polls have been wrong before
(Re ember the 2016 election? I do. I DVR'ed and I watch the CNN coverage every time I need a laugh.)

Russia got the commercial Uranium. We didn't give them the "weapons grade concentration". There is a big difference between the two. Slightly enriched Uranium can be put into a reactor to be used to heat buildings. It gets pretty cold over there in Russia.

Untrue, flighty. FDR's man Harry Hopkins gave the Soviets weapons grade uranium under the provisions of the Lend Lease Act, flighty. Furthermore, flighty, I said it was the "U.S." that created weapons grade uranium in six years -- not the "U.S.S.R."
