How many of us are left from ASPD?

I think I joined ASPD in 2005 or 2006. Gosh, time really flies!

I was among the first 100 registered members of ASPD, joining in December 1999, and was a bit of an unofficial ASPD historian.
To clarify/comment on a couple of things mentioned earlier in this thread...

ASPD was created the last week of November, 1999.
The first handle was registered November 26, 1999.

JerryD was never banished from ASPD, nor was he removed as a Mod. He resigned.
There were, at most, a very small handful of guys who claimed he was guilty of improprieties. Despite numerous pleas for anyone with information to come forward, not a single lady ever stepped forward to substantiate the rumors.
My experience with JerryD was that he was one of the most genuinely nice individuals I ever met or knew. Additionally, he was one of the most helpful hobbyists I knew in my 12 years or so involvement with the boards.

Casinoplayer21 was a post-whore, but also a lover of puns. His inclusion of a pun in most of his many, short posts is what annoyed more than a few members.
32flavors bet him $1,000 that he couldn't go a year without posting.
CP21 accepted the challenge, did stop posting for a year to win the bet, and 32flavors did pay him as promised.

Wow! Great memories. Same handle then. Left Dallas at about the same time ASPD closed. Don't hobby anymore unless I'm on vacation. Useless to even bother in this wasteland.

I would hop on a plane in a heartbeat for an ASPD reunion!

I joined aspd in 2000, my handle is similar, I was jamesdal7, it was taken here on eccie, so now I'm jamesdal77. I remember the social events from the aspd days. Those were fun...
I left Dallas and went to Houston about the time aspd went away, discovered eccie. I don't post much since I lost touch from so many....

I was a long time lurker on ASPD from around 2001-2004 or so, started traveling a lot and hobbying internationally kind of forgot all about it for awhile, learned of its demise and joined Eccie in 2010

ASPD member circa 2000, but I used whatever existed prior to ASPD to hobby in the Dominican Republic in 1997. That board had everything laid out and all I had to do was get off the plane and refer to my notes.

Does anyone remember dfwnites, a dfw version of ASPD? I think it was called dfwnites. That was circa 2000 too.

I remember dfwnites. My recollection is that it withered and died after aspd became popular. For awhile it was a pretty good resource for the studio scene. Didn't seem necessary once aspd gained traction.

Logan may have a better recollection of that site. Perhaps he will chime in if he reads this.
