The issue shouldn’t be that they have upped the verification process now, it’s that too many shady individuals were let into the door at the start. Who knows if they have reverified since then or they just lettting people slide.

That's not very comparable because the studios here are not multi-million / billion dollar public-traded companies that we can easily get a hold of. If we all knew people could make an actual change with gas prices, don't you think people would actually do it? Who would I call to do that? The CEO of BP? Could he unilaterally make a decision to lower gas prices and would he even listen to a few people? My guess is no.

We all text with the studio owners / bookers periodically (sometimes on a daily basis) and it's a known fact from the actual promoters that the studio owners read these threads. So i think people are actually speaking up because we think change could actually be a realistic possibility.

I do understand where you're coming from because you're tired of seeing this thread and the 50 pages of replies and you just want to get back to asian pussy. But are you just as annoyed about 2+ month old studio and AMP reviews that get continuously bumped with incessant posts by promoters? And those bumps have nothing to do with asian pussy....they just said "nice review" or something else worthless.

I just want to throw in a comment, to this quoted post that irked me a little.

It is hard to keep up with this thread, but I can vouch for AJD.

He's been around for a long time and we have been using PM to share objective and valuable info that helped me to decide on multiple occasions. He told me about Nana, Niki , Eve, Lovely, and some more. Having a hobby brother like AJD is the a thing I can rely on and sharing insights with eachother, beats reading reviews. Implying he is AP, or some other dubious handle is laughable, since we know each other for years.

I'll get off my soapbox and let y'all continue with the important discussion , that I lost track off already.

Perfectly said and beat me to it. These handles that simp for studios/spas always try to make analogies for abstract situations that don't fit. We are talking about something real and tangible not grocery shopping that is done at large scale by the masses. Our hobby is a very small community where we have direct access to the business with a review board.

Just because some people do not have the issue the 20 rate hike, doesn’t mean that we or others are “ducks”. When I started in the studios 6 months ago it was 300, 20 more isn’t a lot specifically when you get much better vetting/security and peace of mind in most cases than the Happy Feet massage open till 11pm with trucker parking on the side (that just spells raid me on it). With that being said, if the studios all went from 300 to 350 then I’d likely have a different reaction and likely on the side of teamboycott, so with that being said, some of y’all have just seen way more increases than others.

With that being said, when they Jack prices up earlier in 2023, what did y’all do? Did y’all boycott? Did y’all just take it? Did y’all ask or try to get improved conditions?

I hope this works out for both sides to win. It currently looks like DFW is gettin in solid and young talent now, (win for us and studios if this boycott can be figured out).

The fake reviews and fake comments like good recon/review etc will always be around. Studios will think people won’t realize and having them have 7-8 pg1 reviews will mean better business..

The whole issue is the 2nd rate hike in a yr so that moots your point about the first one that everyone took.
You also keep trying to play up this new young talent angle that was brought in post rate hike which to me says you could have just left your comment as "quack quack".

I for one am not simping for anybody, for the umpteenth time I don’t like the rate increase either. I’m considered a self-employed, independent contractor and I like to run things the way I like to run them and I’ll be damned if anybody tells me how to do things. I’m fully aware that my decisions may lose some people or gain some people, but I’m prepared for that. That’s why I’ve said previously that it’s their business and they should run it the way they want to, whether it’s good or bad for them. They don’t owe us anything.

Now as Armydude likes to say…….. with that being said, I do like the grandfathered idea, however, that won’t benefit the studios until a few years later since 99% of us would be grandfathered in. They would have to wait till a bunch of us fall off and new people come on board. But we’ll see how that works out. And yes, I’m annoyed by the worthless reviews, good review, good recon BS, I just gloss over those comments anyway. I hope it works out for both sides as well, I like seeing happy positive people and reviews, some of yall seem so pissed off like you went out to the parking lot and found somebody keyed your car and flattened your tires, lol. Just relax, everything will work out fine. No need to talk shit about my comments, I haven’t about anyone else’s. Happy hobbying.

We know how you feel about a business running businesses their own way......for the umpteenth time you keep mentioning it. Its weird because we aren't talking about your business and we are talking about being CUSTOMERS at a business you supposedly don't own or have an affiliation with.
Why is your concern what "benefits the studios until a few years later" rather than our concern as consumers of said business?

Ain’t no way we can justify higher prices here for fake pics, fake reviews, promoter accounts. On top of that, you can’t leave any feedback or you’ll get blacklisted like Sunflowers did with SpringFest, or the real reviews will get buried fast by the promoter accounts. Just this week there’s like 5 new ones lol bumping nonsense. And there’s still that chance you can get blacklisted if you walk out of the girls is nothing like the pics. Dallas is fine at 300 not those crazy LA pricing structure upcharges they do. If we keep on letting them tax us, don’t be surprised when it’s extra for DFK for next year

Right now LunaPalace doesn’t have a promoter tax or a msog fee. For me doing a hour at a studio is pointless if round 2 isn’t included without a tax. And the 30 min rate is a ripoff. I would gladly do half hour for 200
