... Uh ... WHAT is "tude"??

... Sometimes the players are like the Good-boy Dudley while
playing at university --- but soon as they become pro, then
the "what about me" Antonio Brown piss-poor demeanour will
surely come creeping out.

The lot of selfish lads chasing endorsement monnies and what-not
don't seem to understand what the key is:

... Simply catching the ball.

... Ok - I see now. Odd sports terms... I'm with ya.

Like when the Pirates announcing bloke yells:
"'Cutch just plated three with that blast. Pirates lead 3-0!"

The Steelers who you keep making an off topic and inaccurate political reference to are 2-0 in the division. This prediction is unlikely.

Pickett lead another game winning fourth quarter drive and put up an 88 passer rating. Not earth shattering, but pretty good considering that he was playing four days after sustaining bruised ribs.

Hmmmm.... ... Agreed.

And the receivers really need to just Catch the Ball!

I honestly believe Tomlin deserved to win NFL Coach of the Year last year by finishing 9-8 (and coming within a whisper of the playoffs).

To take that steaming pile of shit (probably the worst Steelers roster of the 21st century) to a winning record was remarkable. Most other coaches would have been lucky to win 5 games.

Some of his best coaching has come in seasons like that. Like, when they made the playoffs a few years back with the epic QB combo of Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges lol. It's possible that no other coach, except maybe Belichick, could have pulled that off.

He is good at never losing his team. That isn’t an easy feat with todays millionaire, guaranteed money athlete.
However, he’s a defensive minded coach in a day when that just ain’t working anymore. At least not to a Super Bowl.
Rooney will never fire him but we may need to get used to slightly above average teams.

a good coach doesnt lose his team.........

a great coach adapts, a great coach makes changes to reflect what is happening in a game...

a great coach surrounds himself with quality oc and dc coaches

decide for yourself

I'd say starting the '22 season 2-6, then finishing 7-2 shows that Tomlin's pretty adept at making changes to reflect what's happening. I'm much more concerned with Kenny and the o-line than I am with Coach T.

Tomlin is a good regular season coach, never had a losing season as they like to say. Once they get to the playoffs he can not compete with the top teams.

People like to ask, if you get rid of Tomlin who would you get better? It's not necessarily about better but a different philosophy and style. Would you say Tomlin is better than Cowher? Was Cowher better than Noll? Each had a different style than their predecessor and were long shots at the time of their hire.

Yes! You give Tomlin a HOF QB and 2 good coordinators he is the perfect guy. Just don’t see anything to tell me he can rebuild an offense or hire good coordinators.
