I still say all of this is a moot point. Ben Carson believes that the Pyramids at Giza were not built in Old Kingdom Egypt, but in the time of Joseph, and we're not memorial tombs for the King, but to store grain.

It would probably be reasonable to believe that before he started drilling into someone's skull for some brain surgery he did not "qualify" them for his services based upon a religious questionnaire or modify the quality of his services based on what he "perceived" to be their religious beliefs. ...... he believes in the First Amendment and its application to the Government.

Your "objection" to his religious beliefs (or perceived beliefs) as a litmus test for the Presidency is not only not supported by the Constitution, but was discarded by the election of JFK, whose Catholicism was a basis for "fear" among the voters. Are you also opposed to a "Muslim" running for the office?

But if it makes you feel better about voting against a Black person for the office, then feel free to basis your rejection on any part of his past or present.
