I have not had the chance to meet Ms. davenport, though I have wanted to for quite some time.

I had a meeting set up just yesterday, but I was a knucklehead and got busy with other responsibilities and did not follow through as I should have. I upset her and disrupted her day, but though we've never met, she was quite polite and understanding.

Why such harsh words?
