Fields isn't the reason they lost either of the 2 games. He's completing 2/3 of his passes, he's not turning the ball over with any regularity, and he's like having an extra running back on the field. He has nearly twice as many TDs as Mahomes thru 6 weeks. I have no idea what your problem is with the kid, but you're making a silly argument for him to be benched.

More lying by omission Chizz... here's my most recent post on the subject:
"If Tomlin benches Fields for Wilson, all I can say is, it better fucking work."

I don’t know what about or why you guys are arguing. We have a good thing here! A really solid pair of QBs. I think our ceiling is much higher (this year) with Wilson. He proved he still has something.
I wouldn’t mind it if we made a move for Cooper Kupp…..provided he clears medical and we can maybe get him for a 3rd rounder. 2nd round pick is a thinker….but if he’s healthy I might go that far.
Look at bad teams with a good wide receivers and GET ONE!

Monday night is a very typical Tomlin trap game. But I like the fact it’s Monday night so prime time should help keep this team interested.
Be interesting if Russ balls out from the start. Easy to forget he had one bad half and one great half last week.

Not much to bitch about with this team right now. The zebras tried to ruin last nights game but the Steelers, overall, looked good.
It wasn’t pretty, but Russ still looks like the right answer.
I’ll give Najee props….he looks like a man running for his next contract….which he is.
And Watt is just ridiculous.

Yep. Russell's the guy. His football IQ makes up for any age-related issues he may have.
The defense is still getting run all over, though. Gotta tighten that shit up, but can't really complain with 6-2 (and a single play away from being 7-1).

Agree. I think this defensive scheme is too passive. More blitzes, run blitzes and less soft zone.
I remember one blitz last night and Queen was untouched! I guess I am bitching after all. Lol

There were several REAL impressive long passes by Wilson last night. They dropped into the receivers arms at full stride.

What Wilson does that Fields can’t is play under center. This opens up the play action game that Smith is really good at calling. Big reason why Najee is running wild and receivers are open. Makes you wonder why Tomlin stuck with 2 OCs that were retarded. Defense is still leaky in the run game. Seems like they have the players to stop it. Who knows.

BTW, I forgot to mention Mt Washington. He’s a big weapon and Smith is using him in the passing game. We’ll see more of him. Especially in the red zone off play action.

It's what Kenny was incapable of doing, for whatever fucked up reason - throw it to the tallest guy on the field. Kenny might have been the dumbest QB in Steelers history. Definitely the worst 1st round pick in Steelers history.
