Thanks for the compliments Amy, Dearhunter, & Boardman.

Boardman: Um, you owe me a lot of kitten support. When are you going to stop being a deadbeat cat and pay up?

I used to think it was ok to be fat obese (morbidly!) until one day I desided I didnt want to die from the complications of be obese. I started making changes in the choices of fuel I put in my body. I've lost over 100 pounds. I am still considered a "BBW" because I still have about 90 pounds to go before I am HWP. I stopped gorging on fake food and lost quite abit of wieght. Enough to be allowed to "safely" exercise. I am no longer on any health issue medication, I am not even diabetic any more!!! I feel great & I am not stopping. I love my new lifestyle and intend to continue, for my own sake. My family has all been FAT, I am smaller than all of them now. LOL Go figure. I like what Wake up said, I beleive that is so true. I was fat beacause I was lazy and ate to feel better. Now I eat to fuel my body and exercise to feel better.

And that's all it takes...the clarity of thought to realize what you are and the will to change it...everything else is sheer laziness...

Well I'm not gonna get bigger. If you were 100 pounds heavier and still have 90 pounds to go then you were probably in trouble. I think us girls with a little extra to love should not be called names. Congrats on your lifestyle change, and I want to do something ON MY OWN TIME. Really I just lost about 25 pounds in the last 4 months and still losing on my own, so I'm gonna see how much comes off. Other than boobs losing a size, right now I'm feeling pretty good. When I am 400 pounds I might need the WU challenge and unignore him lol. Right now, I feel sexy so why steal my joy.

Because its irrelevant what you feel...it's what you are that counts...and that's obese...

Again, we've been fooling ourselves that fat is acceptable for three decades now...times up...

You're 5'7" and weigh, I'm guessing, more than a man 6'10" should weigh. Your body composition is 50% fat, that is a death wish. Maybe not today or tomorrow, or next year but one illness, one hospitalization could result in your death.

What happens if you get in a car wreck or have an appendicitus and are hospitalized and contract pnuemonia, which is very common. Unhealthy people die in hospitals ever day from relatively common and usually treatable infections. Usually treatable in otherwise healthy people.

It's a ticking time bomb.

I think I am 30BMI. To much, but I'm not 400 pounds like others you praise for getting down to my size lol. And like I said I am losing it on the fuck diet, so REALLY read my post well. Judge those girls that are 300 plus babe, you are barking up the wrong tree. Nobody is saying, "thats good and congrats" for the weight I lost, only to the 400 pound women who are down to my size. Its kinda screwed up if you ask me! And if anyone has anything else to add, go tell your mamma to loe weight and see if you don't get the shit slapped out of you!

My thoughts on this - since this thread won't die the death it clearly needs to.

First off, what does it matter what one person thinks is a definition of obese / etc. (be it scientific or simply opinion or what have you) and then disguises the argument such that said person is able to then volley insults at others (whereupon retreating to the 'oh no / it's a science thing / I care about you' camp after the insults are called out)?

If you are truly concerned about the health of others, a better way to have stated the case would have been one of compassion, acknowledging problems of health, and providing links to health centers at the various university sites that have these medical programmes in place to assist in losing weight without the cost of regimented things such as Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig?

I understand that "shock value" may make the case, and indeed may have gotten the thread noticed, but what it does is seek to inflame others away from your cause, and focusing only on the negative tone of the attack. Your cause was, therefore, not served in any way since the focus steered far from the (alleged) intent to help people.

Good debate on such matters is grown by bringing people together under a banner of facts, not by yelling upon the dais of hate speech masked in a pseudo-cloak of insults.

I think it was started less as a concern for the well being of his fellow board members as much as it is a concern for his own personal finances and as a pseudo-rant therein....... I didn't see it much beyond being pissed off at feeling as though he was one having to "foot the bill" for the precieved laziness in others and their lack of care for their own overall well being......... But I'm not the OP, so I can't speak for him....... Keep in mind that we all have an opinion on matters and some choose to voice their opinions different than others...... This is not too indifferent than other "Hot button" topics like Abortion, Wellfare, etc..... People can easily be stirred up over the mere introduction of the conversation........

First mistake...I could care less about the health of these people, except so far as it impacts my wallet.

Second mistake, I have no compassion for lazy people who are fooling themselves about what they are.

I think I laid out a bunch of the problems with them being fat throughout this thread.

Why should I take the time to compile information for these lazy people when they should be doing it themselves? Why do I care if they do it for free or if it costs them all their life savings? I gave these people a way to lose weight that is completely free, requires no exercise, and no food changes, what else do you want from me??

Third mistake, you think my "cause" was to help these people. I'm not here to help them any more than I already did. I'm here to expose them, to educate them, and shame them. I'm not here to help them, they need to get off their lazy asses and help themselves, so the rest of us can quit dealing with the myriad impacts of their obesity.

Last mistake, you think I came here to debate people. I'm not...

Any more questions I can help you with?

This is just one of those ugly, mean threads that should be CLOSED. I don't care who anyone thinks is beatuiful or ugly, if you feel that way then pass me up simply. I assure you my feelings won't be hurt, and neither will my purse! I try to make a nice post for a friend and it gets ugly insults as well. And the funny thing is that the ones causing problems aren't hobbyist, they don't contribute anything but hate and nastiness to this board. WTF are they even here for. This board is for the hobbyist, and the provider, and suppose to be a safe place to post.

No need to hijack things.

If it had crossed a line it would have been closed already, no sense asking for it now. This isn't about my personal standards of beauty, everyone knows I'll never pay to fuck you. This is about a massive (pun intended) problem here in the United States and our society's "rose colored glasses" mentality trying to change being fat into being "normal" or "unavoidable" when it's nothing of the sort.

I love how people look at my reviews and automatically assume I'm not a hobbyist or I don't contribute...typical...I'm not going to begin to educate people about what I do here...your heads would explode anyway...

By saying "suppose [sic]" you're implying that threads like this make the board an unsafe place to post. How is this? Methinks you're confusing "safe" with "everyone must be nice to me here even though I'm fat"...is that right?
