Were you surprised? This was a district that has been Republican for 40 years. Ossoff was a political neophyte who when he first entered the race was given no chance at all to win. Handel won by 3.8%. Her predecessor won by 20+ points. But it certainly was a meaningful election with a ton of money spent by both sides. If the Democrats are to pick up house seats in 2018 they must learn from the Republican victories which seem to have been achieved by being better at mobilizing their voters.

Or, the fact that Republicans have a message and the dimretards don't.

Hate alone won't win elections. As we just witnessed.

That's right - ALL Americans. You're just mad because she's a winner.

The first part of your post makes no sense. ALL Americans wouldn't be true based on the article he posted where she was against a portion of the population based on her religious beliefs.

And to call Karen Handel a winner, you either don't know what a winner is or you have low standards. She ran for governor and lost the Republican nomination. She ran for Senate and came in third for the Republican nomination. 1-3, that's not a winning record. That's a winner to you? Winning once doesn't make you a winner. Just means you won once.

The Republicans have a message? What is it?

We will condemn the Democrats for things we do ourselves and then pretend no one knows we are full of shit. The sad part being when Democrats were supposedly speeding a bill through in the dark, it was to give people healthcare. The Republicans are doing it to take away healthcare.

Or how about there favorite messages, which show you are dumb, they feed on the HATE Republicans have for people. Otherwise why do you think they run ads tying people to Pelosi? Or they compare everything to Obama. Or they bring in the boogeymen like Susan Rice or Hilary Clinton?

Maybe their message is fiscal responsibility? No that use to be their message until passed a bill in the House with any CBO score, meaning they didn't have any idea what experts predicted it would do to the deficit. They also didn't denounce the Trump Tax plan which is vastly fiscally irresponsible. It has tax cuts without reducing spending. We are just moving the spending from a lot of departments to defense.

The Republicans don't have a single message they all agree on besides HATE. Otherwise they would be passing more legislation since they have control of the House and Senate. And the Executive branch and they have more seats on the SCOTUS.

But keep telling yourself that that the left just pushes hate and the right is all about the policies. Anyone buying that is too dumb understand government anyway.

How does the map get redder and redder? It's a district that was red last year, the year before and for decades.

Now if you want to get into a discussion about the ways that Republicans attempt to keep things there way... We can get into it about gerrymandering and voter suppression. Because that second one, there was a little of that going on in the GA06 election. Did you see the little ad where they used Obama reading a statement by another person in a way to make it appear as though Obama himself was saying it. And it was crafted in a way to make it seem that Obama was saying that African Americans shouldn't vote for Democrats. Yet it never said, vote Republican instead. Not it was just an ad to try to get more Africans Americans to not vote. Funny that's what they want, not trying to get more people to vote or trying to win over African Americans. Nope, just try to stop them from voting by any means. Way to try to make the country redder. By excluding minorities in the country.

Rep. Steve Scalise’s Life Was Saved By A Black Queer Woman. Here’s Why That Matters.
The rights of people like American hero Crystal Griner are routinely jeopardized by conservative politicians.

If you read ANYTHING on how the election was run, Ossoff didn't even mention Trump in his campaigning. And from everything I've read the race was above board with little of the crap we saw in the Presidential election. Republican district historically, close Republican victory.

See text in red below. If Trump does not meet his promises, it will be interesting to see what happens.
FWIW, there was an article in USA Today today stating that the rise in the DOW has been due to "early HOPES of a fiscal stimulus from Trump's election, a rebounding global economy, and strong first quarter earnings."

As I just said, if the "hopes" do not come to fruition, we will see that happens.

If you think that any of Trump's EOs or legislation passed so far have led to the jump in the DOW, please list them.

Right because no one on the right has done anything. They sell HATE just as much as the left. I guess you don't watch the news. I guess you don't see a pro-Trump guy shoot up a mosque in Quebec. Oh oh you want to talk about Bernie supporters. There was this guy in Portland who was a fan of Bernie and a pro-Trump guy and he killed two people. Try telling selling your bullshit to their families. Or the families of the black ROTC student who was killed for being black. By a white supremacist. Haven't heard Trump denounce that yet. Wonder why? Or let's take it back to the time a right wing nut was so influenced by Glenn Beck he was on his way to kill progressives in Oakland. You should really watch something other than Fox News before talking about people not watching the news. You're so dumb it's sad.
