On the DJ miss in the end zone you are wrong unfortunately. Kenny doesn’t see the field well and Diantae was open forever. He was absolutely wide open for quite a while then Kenny made if even worse by either completely missing or throwing to a spot as you suggest. I was at the game and the whole crowd was screaming for Kenny to throw to DJ.
However, I’d love to see all this expert opinion about Kenny right after we made the pick. You never know and I still think it was worth the gamble to find the elusive franchise QB.

So, that’s your expert opinion on Pickett? His analytics suck. “Love” to hear your opinion. My opinion, not worth a first round pick. He’s no Dan Marino. Never will be. The floor is yours.
If Picketts our guy, we'll finish behind the Bengals and Ravens. Their QBs are that much better.

No by all means…continue on.
From being “265 pounds solid” to “playing at a high level” to “being paid to play football” we obviously just aren’t worthy of your immeasurable pearls of wisdom.

I was at the game, and sitting right on the side of that end zone in the 100 level. He absolutely threw it to the soft spot in the zone. I just watched a replay of the play again. Kenny went through his progressions. Looked to the right, then when he looked back to the left and saw that DJ had a window and threw it to him. After looking at the replay, the throw could have been a little better, but I think with better traction, DJ catches it.

Well, honestly, you’re not on my level. And you know it. You forgot 6’3”. I was a handful in the late 70’s early 80’s for a TE. Do you agree or disagree with my opinion on KP? Grace us like 1P.

If I remember correctly Ben and some of his receivers knew where to go to that Ben would throw the ball there, that’s how I seen it with the pass in the end zone today, Pickett threw it to the open place the receiver should have been.
Point being the receiver can work with and help the QB, Antonio Brown and Heath did that with Ben.
The linebacker Harrison on the immaculate interception said he knew where the QB was going with the pass when he Harrison baited him before the play in the Super Bowl.
Troy knew where to go on a regular bases because of his football smarts.
Point being I’m not seeing this with some of our players, Johnson being one of them.
I thought in the first drive Kenny threw a ball over the middle the went sort of high threw Pickens hands. I seen other receivers regularly catch high thrown balls thrown high so they can’t be intercepted

We basically have 3 backup QBs. And nobody wanted to sign Rudolph. We could have the 1976 Steeler D, which pitched 5 shutouts and still miss the playoffs.

I posted I seen it the way you described it.
My point earlier the receivers also have skin in the game and can work to help the QB. Thats what make pro bowl receivers like AB and Heath.
Hasn’t anyone heard of QB’s throwing balls to a point a receiver should go to.

It’s always nice to read hooker board guys brag about their old sports exploits. I mean it’s on a hooker board so must be true.
As for the Kenny pick the real answer is nobody knows how it’s going to work out. If they did, all the hall of fame QBs would have been the first pick. The best ever was a 6th rounder.

Actually paid to play isn’t new. I posted it on Indys. It’s true. I have receipts. You and 1P are just Yinzers with no real football experience. You know that, I know that. It’s just the facts. You’re just jealous. But that’s ok. You and 1P prolly didn’t get past flag football days. Your posts in this thread confirm that. Carry on BIG guy.
The Steelers aren’t going anywhere with the Tomlin/Canada/Pickett combination .Write it down.

I have plenty of organized tackle football experience, and friends who have played in the NFl in this millennium. Jealous of you? That's hilarious.
They need to get rid of Canada, but that won't likely happen till after the season.

I played with NFL players. And against them. Where did you “bump” into Revis? The corner of Atwood and Forbes?
You played “ tackle” football? LMAO!!!!!

Jealous of a mythical hooker board persona. Lol. That’s a new level of lack of self awareness.
1pitt….its a shame we’ve wasted 2 years of a first round QB with Canada. I doubt Kenny is the answer but he needs better then this.
Did I ever tell anyone I’m actually Dan Marino.
Bahahahahahahahaha

Once again you're just making stuff up. I've been around Revis at parties, but wouldn't call him a friend. The people I'm talking about answer my calls any time I call.
