Well as a educated black male with two degrees, I think you are showing a shallow viewpoint because there's statistical analysis from crime, punishment phases of crime, wage gaps to hiring practices that clearly show that there are problems within America on how we deal with minorities altogether.

The original BET 30 something years ago was a political action to try to get famous people onto the silver screen to get exposure for their talents in both music and acting. What has changed was ownership of the network.

The music and comedians you mentioned well every genre of music has overtones of drugs and alcohol use. Countty, Rock, you name it. There are female comedians who call each other bitches, whores and etc. Nothing is new under the sun folks.

To be perfectly honest, I personally feel that NBA polices are not only inflammatory but outright disgust me because a common theme that I've witnessed was poor screening to begin with. Having said that, you have assholes on both sides.

The truly sad thing is that for example, I've written over 40 plus reviews, been on the board for a quite a bit of time and hold up my end of the bargain when it comes to doing reviews and doing them timely. Just this week alone, I traveled to Dallas and saw 2 providers and dropped over $550 altogether. NBA policies are a miss for you more so than me.
