Let's take a look at this, why don't we?
Well, first off, the silver-lining is the Skins did show improvement in a few categories of note(comparing the '14 / '15 seasons):
Moved up from the 29th ranked D to the 24th ranked; not bad but not great either...
Improved in scoring D: allowing 27 ppg to 23 ppg...decent.
Moved down slightly from 13th ranked O to the 17th ranked...less emphasis on running the ball....
However, in spite of that drop, still found a way to improve in offensive scoring: 19 ppg to 24 ppg....again, decent.
Truth be told, they should have shown improvement in these and many other stat lines, etc.....afterall, the NFL rewards last place teams with a 4th place schedule the following season (ie: based on Washington's stellar 4-12 season in 2014). Playing plenty of bad teams should help your record.
That said, Washington did not win a one game versus a team posting a winning record this season (the terrible NFC East contributed, of course) .
8 wins, all told, against teams (currently) that have a dreadful cumulative 50-70 Win/Loss record. Course, as stated, you play who you're scheduled....and win the games you're supposed to win. Beat the bad teams, right?
Now stay with me, Alyssa.....I know this is pretty heady stuff. It gets even better:
On the flip side, of their 7 losses, 3 are against losing teams (Miami....NY Giants....and the 4-11 Dallas Cowboys....lol). Those 3 are a cumulative 15-30 W/L; outscoring Washington 68-47 in the process; (the 7 total losses accounted for being drummed a cumulative, 198-112 margin, btw).
Washington will host a first round game (against Seattle or Green Bay, I believe). Odds are, the Skins will be one-and-done. And their reward (for 2016) will be that first place schedule......let the victory parade begin. Woo Hoo.

Cowboys, baby.
And to be honest, Alyssa, not sore at all...simply disappointed that last year's success wasn't followed up with more of the same this year. And shocked that Dallas was so fragile that losing a qb and wr would derail the entire season.
Let's face it....Washington survived to win a division that was abnormally bad this year. That's a fact. The Skins are not a great team by any stretch of the imagination considering who they built their 9 wins against.
As noted earlier, they are currently an NFC worst 38 to 1 odds to win it all (and only the Texan's 75 to 1 odds is worse out of all the dozen teams that qualified for post-season play).
Gruden has Cousins and the offense playing decently. But they are far from being a championship football team. The Packers are a complete mess right now and I wouldn't be shocked in the least to see them go into DC this weekend and come out victorious.
All in all, enjoy hanging this year's NFC East championship banner....next to the names of the two team trainers and concession worker that'll also be enshrined in the Skins' embarrassingly watered down ring of honor.

I didn't call you a dumb escort. I called you an uneducated football fan. Has nothing to do with your gender or occupation. Midgetwrestler was a dumb football fan too, and he was a man (for the most part). One of the most knowledgeable people about football I have met is a female steelers fan. So, yeah, you keep on with that gloating about your crap team. My team is crap too, but as least I am honest about it.
Fucking strangers for money ain't got nothing to do with nothing in football.

Thanx. Ol' Rivers looked like Brady the other day pouting and crying...he does have a pretty mouth though. Rivers, not Brady.
Hey Brock did the damn thing, but when Peyton stepped on the field on Sunday I prayed and thanked Tebow!

something like 20-17?
pretty sure that mccoy played that whole game..
yeah, ok. those were some odds....
(roll eyes)
at least you admit that youre a whiny fan of a team that placed 4th in their division. see you next year.

Wow, just wow.
Those Redskins really showed us. That defense, shutting down a struggling Green Bay offense. They took a downtrodden team and made them work for every point.
Oh wait. Bizarro world. Pack winning by 17 with 4 minutes to go. Best offensive output in a while. Yeah, the skins are actually a bad team in a bad division.

Let the record speak for itself......Washington didn't post a single victory vs a winning team the entire season.
Not sure what the Skins take away from this season other than (once again) blowing a double-digit lead at home in the playoffs has gotta suck for their fans. They did (it would appear) find their starting qb for the the foreseeable future. Makes one wonder where RG3 will land next year?

Yes, it seems the exuberant fan base has gone dark. As for RG3; if he has his way, he'll end up in Dallas. But he isn't nearly dysfunctional enough to appeal to JJ. We are more likely to get Manziel.
