You guys are idiots. Jerry loves and respects Jason Garrett. He is doing him the courtesy of not renewing his contract as opposed to publicly firing to help someone that he genuinely cares about save a little face. Say what you want about the guy, but he is a loyal friend. Jerry fired Jimmy Johnson when they were on the edge of a 3-peat. You think that guy gives a fuck about firing somebody?

He has literally no intentions of hiring Marvin Lewis. He is simply getting that stupid Rooney Rule requirement out of the way at the very beginning of the process as opposed to doing it at the end like most owners do after their new coach has already been chosen.
