It isn't all about the QB. If that was the case Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson, Doug Williams, etc. would be in the hall of fame. They aren't because their TEAM won the Super Bowl.

When the chargers won their division with an 8 and 8 record in wasn't nearly as proud as you. Embarrassed was more the term I would choose.

Alyssa, you're crackin' me up, gal....love the passion you have for your team though. I feel most of this stuff you're spoutin' is nothing but tongue-in-cheek razzin'......even the most uneducated of sports / football fans can easily see that Washington's NFC East crown this season is more Fool's Gold than anything. Well, first off, the silver-lining is the Skins did show improvement in a few categories of note(comparing the '14 / '15 seasons):

Moved up from the 29th ranked D to the 24th ranked; not bad but not great either...
Improved in scoring D: allowing 27 ppg to 23 ppg...decent.

Moved down slightly from 13th ranked O to the 17th ranked...less emphasis on running the ball....
However, in spite of that drop, still found a way to improve in offensive scoring: 19 ppg to 24 ppg....again, decent.

Truth be told, they should have shown improvement in these and many other stat lines, etc.....afterall, the NFL rewards last place teams with a 4th place schedule the following season (ie: based on Washington's stellar 4-12 season in 2014). Playing plenty of bad teams should help your record.

That said, Washington did not win a one game versus a team posting a winning record this season (the terrible NFC East contributed, of course) .

8 wins, all told, against teams (currently) that have a dreadful cumulative 50-70 Win/Loss record. Course, as stated, you play who you're scheduled....and win the games you're supposed to win. Beat the bad teams, right?

Now stay with me, Alyssa.....I know this is pretty heady stuff. It gets even better:

On the flip side, of their 7 losses, 3 are against losing teams (Miami....NY Giants....and the 4-11 Dallas Cowboys....lol). Those 3 are a cumulative 15-30 W/L; outscoring Washington 68-47 in the process; (the 7 total losses accounted for being drummed a cumulative, 198-112 margin, btw).

Washington will host a first round game (against Seattle or Green Bay, I believe). Odds are, the Skins will be one-and-done. And their reward (for 2016) will be that first place schedule......let the victory parade begin. Woo Hoo.

Jets looked awful last weekend.....Fitz was pressing throughout the game. Bills had nothing to play for (yet) did not lay down. Steeler fans: ecstatic obviously.

Skins odds (to win the Super Bowl) as of yesterday was 38 to win.

Not as terrible (or good...depending on how you look at it) for the Texans at 75 to 1.

Hey....plop a Benji or two down on either.....if you hit, you can hobby well for the rest of the month, right?

Chefs at 24 to 1......not a bad pay off for a team as hot as they are going into post season play. Their defense is killing it right now.

Now we won it and all anyone can do is come up with some dumb ass excuses.

Cowboys lost Romo.. So what. Redskins have been juggling QBs since 1934. Whoever doesn't want to suck it up and just admit that Cousins got his shit together is just as lame as the Giants GM making 5001 excuses today about why their losing record isn't really that bad.
