It was no surprise to me. Portland is not a true 8th seed when healthy. They'll be a tough out for the Lakers. AD played like shit. He's not going 8-24 with FGs and 12-17 from the line again. They'll be fine. Or maybe not because Portland's strengths are the Lakers biggest weakness with their guards. My beloved Lakers could be fucked. TWK, I just watch the game. I don't care about anything else regarding politics when I watch sports. It's just a game I enjoy watching. I enjoy the separation of actual reality when I watch sports.

I think the Lakers went 5-32 from the 3 point line. It was a sad game to watch. During the 3rd quarter, I ate Chinese food just to make myself pass out from food coma. I just couldn't take watching the game any longer. I was surprised when I woke up that they only lost by 7 points. I was expecting 20 or more. I had a great nap though. I felt so refreshed when I woke up. I felt like a baby coming out of the womb.

The NBA games are weird to watch. I can't even imagine how weird the NFL will be to watch. College football seems to have said "fuck it" and mostly shut down so no need to worry about that as much as I hate to say it.

With little or any college football this fall, my Saturdays are now officially fucked. It will be a shit week at work M-F and on Saturday night, I'll be stuck watching 48 hours episodes.

the BIG 10 and PAC 12 say they will play a spring season. the others of the Power 5, SEC, ACC and Big 12 intend to play conference only schedules in the fall.

several BIG 10 coaches aren't too happy with a spring season. not sure what they can do about it now that the the two conferences have decided.

if this happens we'll have both fall and spring seasons. and presumably two champions.
