If you're self insured or work for or own a company with less than 100 employees, I think you don't pay more directly. That's because of provisions of Obama's affordable care act. However hospitalization costs and the like drive up health care costs that eventually are going to come out of your employers pocket and your pocket. That's because the insurance companies pass the costs on through higher rates.
If you work for a larger company, I think their costs do go up if their employees are sickly. Part of that would probably come out of wages. Also, insurance companies aren't covering 100% of COVID treatment costs like they used to. Some people are ending up with large copays when they go to the hospital for COVID, that they didn't have to pay before.

wow.....are the people administering the vaccine slipping and falling, injuring the pilots?
I mean, the vaccine is perfectly safe AND effective.
I sure hope that doctor doesn't get Court Martialed for suggesting anything negative about these vaccines

the vaccine makes people ill for a day or so
it made me slightly so, some others I know were affected even moreso
maybe that's what is meant by vaccine injury?

Yeah, pilots aren't supposed to fly for 48 hours after they get vaccinated as a safety precaution. Big deal. How long would a person with a mild to moderate case of COVID be out of action? Maybe a couple of weeks?

How many times do you have to be wrong before you realize it?

i doubt that 'clinical severity of disease' has much to do with how the immune response manifests.
asymptomatic patients manifest a quite adequate immune response
The issue is Likely variability between patient to patient.
IMHO
Studies get published - it is teh predominance of evidence over time that confirms conclusions.
I reserve judgment at this point
Tiny - Thank you - good Sir!
