Independent vs. Agency... which do you prefer??

Being a spontaneous sort of monger I always preferred agencies but there is also far greater risk for the monger with an agency.

Book an independent and you run the far greater risk of wasting a $35 blue pill when they NCNS. At least an agency can send backups.

I understand you wanting to feel safe with back up. There are always alternatives and booking spontaneously you run less of a risk of NCNS, don't you?

I've used a few agencies up north and had good times. I do prefer independents though, less structured, and usually lower volume.

I think the arrangement Dara has is pretty cool. She is in the biz, everything handled professionally for the other ladies, no guys involved.

As a long time aspd'er and now eccie... I've been gone from the hobby. Personally, I think agencies are a great way to get back into the hobby. That way you're not a total newbie when going with an independent.

Not true. While agencies are a great way for newbies to get laid without having to jump though hoops they aren't generally usable as references when you want to book with an independent.
That being said there are occasional independents who will book with you if they see you have posted several agency reviews and have a solid board presence.
However without the agency vouching for you newbie status remains. Agencies don't generally work with their competition when they have several women for you to try out.

The two are not even in the same ballpark. There is no reason to ever use a agency unless you are having a bachelor party or something like that. Why may a markup getting one provider? Still trying to figure out why most asian women are in agencies?

I think there are good things agency's do and offer that indies can't. It's just good to know what works and what doesn't. Most things I can certainly do like be professional and considerate. The extra little touches are personal to me and I do because I want you to feel welcome.
