Yes. That would be a confirmed appointment.
It was a mutual agreement to meet on a specific date at a specific time.
(I dont understand what you mean by "you *will* give me the incall location *then as is usual* idk if you are suggesting the location was/wasnt given)

I think he meant that as usual, the location will not given on the day they agreed on the time and date (Monday) but on the day of the appt (Friday).

I agree that it should be considered an appt and if the provider fails to provide the location on the day of appt; its a NCNS.

PK - I was meaning that the providers typically wait until close to the appointment time to give the specific location.

The difference in answers between these two posts is an example of why this issue is so confusing. There needs to be an agreed upon definition that is consistently used.

I agree with MsPK. That is a confirmed appointment and if the provider does not show or respond to contact attempts it is an NCNS. If a hobbyist does the same thing to a provider it is also an NCNS. Bad business from either side is wrong. Sadly my limited experience leads me to believe that providers with good TCB are the exception. Unfortunately, I suspect the opposite is also true.

Gotcha! I give my "whereabouts" when i confirm an appointment.
I let the gent know to text no sooner than an hr prior for the "exact" location.
(New gents that is)

I guess if an appointment is confirmed. AND theres the promise to give more details later, but one fails to do so. Its a ncns. Idk. They set a date but creates an obstacle to prevent the date from happening and didnt communicate such. Thats just my take. I like to k.i

I am sorry I brought this thread to life. I have had providers being rude as hell since to me. Not sure if its the thread, or just rude ladies.

Momma taught me better, I apologize.

I understand this is for safety reasons. Its not fair to leave us hanging those few days when we could be contacting other providers instead. If you can't plan a few days ahead just say so and we'll move on to the next one or if something happened then it takes less than a minute to text or pm "Something came up. Can't meet with you."
I would consider anything planned in advance that way an appointment that is confirmed, Gooose, and as such would be happy to give the address. I think I can safely say that most ladies, myself included, prefer to set appointments a day or two beforehand.

What I was referring to, and I probably could have been more clear, was an appointment that was discussed on the day of. For example, I recieve a message out of the blue asking for "X length around 5pm today at your incall?" When I give a tentative yes -provided of course that you give references/pass screening- and ask for a little time to check references this does not mean that an appointment is confirmed. Some gents have assumed so, especially when I starting out and gave an address when asked for one, and have arrived at my incall without confirming with me when I was not expecting anyone.

Part of that was my fault for giving the address, even though I was clear that we were not yet confirmed and it was for planning purposes only, which is the reason I don't consider it confirmed and set until everyone has the address of the meeting, AND time/date and location are agreed on and set. Obviously, if a gent has given a preference for time/date it's on me to communicate and be certain I leave enough time to confirm and for him to work it comfortably into his schedule. I am also sure to be clear about all this in our first cominication.

MsPrittiKitti just nailed my definition of a properly scheduled appointment. I want to know the date, the time, and the general location when the appointment is made and agreed to. The exact location should be provided at least one hour before the agreed upon appointment.

Of course all of this is moot when I set a same day appointment, drive an hour then sit in an HEB parking lot trying to get some response from the provider. In my foolish days as a newbie I sat for an hour past the scheduled time, hoping for a response. Now, if I don't establish contact within an hour of the appointment I begin to plot plans B and C. I'm not sure what I'm going to tell the original provider if one ever finally makes contact. It seems when they flake they don't try to recover.

In early December I set an appointment for the next morning, 9 am. The provider texted me her specific location at 8 am, but no room number. Said I would get that when I arrived. I started texting when I was 10 minutes out. By appointment time I was moving on.

What I find annoying is when a lady gives you a general location, then decides to direct you to the address.

I mean, damn. I'm going to be at your doorstep in a minute or so. Just give me the address. If your perspective client wanted to do something nefarious, he will get your address once he stops at the incall.

Is your address the one with the green car in the driveway? THERE ARE THREE GREEN CARS IN THREE SEPARATE DRIVES ON THIS STREET!!!

Nosy neighbor: Oh hold on officer. Yes, there is a suspicious douchebag driving up and down my street looking at green cars.

You are truly a patient gentleman to even feel the need to apologize for airing your most legit grievances. STOP IT!

You have no reason to be sorry and if bitches are in an uproar and angry at you about It then let them fucking whine! Who cares? They are just lucky you didnt post a damn list of their names. You have every right to report a NCNS and not get backlash.

I know shit happens but some are doing this BS over and over again and it gets old. If you dont care to employ any reasonable customer service skill then dont work with people!

Good Luck with future appts, Nerdy.

I hate that too JJ, from a providers view. I've had guys tell me to call them when I got to X so they direct me in. Part of my screening for outcall is having your address so God forbid I shouldn't come home, that's the first place they would look. I get a hobbyists reasons why sometimes but that's my rule. Plus its just easier

What good is a ncns thread without telling us who the provider is?
