I would throw in Godfather 2..but 3 SUCKS..should NOT have been made.
LD should have won the awards that year..but they gave it to that crappy show about Pearl Harbor

I will gladly agree to give GF 2 its just due. I considred it a great movie but a notch below 1. I considered 3 as ok but I admit to being very disappointed when I first saw it. With that said, the biggest problem with 3 is that it was so closely scrutinzed because of 1 and 2. It failed to measure to the high standards already set by the first 2. I suspect that it would be more accepted if it were stand alone!

Oh yeah Ike... X was the shit. I love movies where the protagonist makes a total 360. Malcolm X was the epitome of turning your life from a useless waste to something to awesome. .denzel did a bang up job

Denzel always does a bang up job.
Speaking of Denzel reminded me of a movie I forgot to list that I have seen many times. I forgot to add A Soldiers Story to my list.
If anybody ever wants a lesson on acting, just watch this movie, more importantly watch Adolph Caesar as Sgt. Waters. He was absolutely brilliant as the crusty old sergeant. How he lost the Oscar to the guy in the movie The Killing Fields (Haing S. Ngor) is beyond me.
