I will do it one day but yeah its a scary thought i've seen some of the procedures online and the surgery is horrifying.
Sure i have my doubts and worries about things not working correcting down there and my basic wellbeing but for me i will be complete no more tucking or hiding the (for lack of a better word) franks and beans..

OK, DD, I'll add some tidbits as requested. KK, AmberRose and others please correct me if I get any of this wrong, or if usage isn't always consistent. I have always found gender, sexual orientation, and sexuality to be incredibly interesting. As long as it is consensual and not harmful, why not!!!!! My personal goal is not to get out of this life without having tried anything and everything which might possibly appeal to me.
Trannie or tranny is considered a pejorative term--not that it is obviously so, but it is, kind of like oriental is now considered pejorative (Asian is the preferred word). She-male is a little more obviously pejorative. I also see trans-man and trans-woman used, and I believe they are not considered pejorative.
The vocabulary around gender identity and sexual orientation can get very complicated and hard to understand. I consider myself a straight man because I am attracted to women.
But wait a minute, what if it's the female persona and body type I'm attracted to. Am I still straight if I'm attracted to a pre-operative M to F transexual? What if it's a post-operative transexual? What if it is a feminine looking straight male crossdresser (the statistics I have read indicated that a signficant majority of cross dressers are straight--although Drag Queens are a different story.
Further complicated in my case by the fact that I love the feel of stockings and lingerie on my own body, or having my female partner and I both in lingerie and rubbing and intertwining our bodies deliciously.
Actually I have met both pre-operative and post-operative transexuals who I felt a definite attraction to, but have not so far acted on, though time will tell on that. I enjoy anal sex with a woman if she likes receiving it, and receiving ass play including via strap-on from a woman is quite the mind fuck for me. Logically, why wouldn't I enjoy being with a feminine trans-woman with a functional penis? Holy crap, Batman, I think my brain is going to explode!! Maybe it is time for that 3 some I have discussed with Ms. Athena and an attractive, low drama, versatile trans-woman.
Some essential trans-woman terms are top, bottom, and versatile (willing to either top or bottom) as relates to anal sex and fellatio.
Trans-men and trans-women may undergo major surgeries as well as hormones. F to M could have any or all of double mastectomy, hysterectomy and oophorectomy, closing off the vagina, increasing the size of the clitoris, and phalloplasty.
M to F could have any or all of orchiectomy (removal of testicles), vaginoplasty, labioplasty, breast implants, butt implants, facial reconstructive surgery, and larynx surgery to name a few. Plus electrolysis or laser hair removal. The reason for orchiectomy is that it is relatively cheap, where full SRS (sexual reassignment surgery) is very, very expensive if done in the U.S., and typically not covered by insurance. Much less expensive if it is done by a reputable doctor in Thailand. Many younger trans-women can't afford the full surgery, but elect orchiectomy because it removes the effect of testosterone, and allows estrogen to be more effective.
I've read a couple of studies that indicate that trans-men (F to M) do better at finding partners and developing an LTR than trans-women.
Okay, DD, you asked for it, there's a fair bit of information plus some personal sharing here where it is safe to do so.

This is a link to the most handsome men who started life as females- most of those guys are SMOKING HOT

Just want to talk about it and increase my knowledge.
As far as the biological side, is it easier for one sex to be one another, is there an age of no return?
Sub question.... For those men who are so strict about a TS being wrong still because they have male parts or male DNA, does it make it different if it is a man with female DNA? I mean no disrespect by this question.
I think I want to have sex with a female to male trans :-)

i have a friend who is/was a lesbian... she started dating her So many years ago. her SO had the surgery and is now a male... they have been legally married now for years. if you look at her husband you would have no idea that he was once a woman. beard/mustache the works. once after a long night of drinking we talked about how it "works" and sex. his wife had no complaints

I think you just mind fucked me :-) ooooooooohhhh so good.......
I'm of the same mind frame as you Sir, there isn't much I won't try, because the experiences are what I'm after, not only that but if you don't try it how can you genuinely say you don't like it?
I feel badly, this whole time I thought 'tranny' was an acceptable word, I definitely don't revel in degrading people or being ignorant and I just got a big spoon full of both. :-(

SRS is the last step and yes very expensive and can and does kill some MtFs who get it from a not so reputable Doctor.
Its a very long road to travel especially if you start late in life so many things to get done to feel right it can be overwhelming at times.
I have to say i have a much greater respect for what born women go through to look beautiful.

Amen to that sister. I think we have outrageously high expectations for what we expect for women to do in terms of hair, grooming, makeup, and clothing to meet our dominant male idea of beauty.
Whereas we guys can get up, maybe shower, maybe shave, brush our teeth, slap on jeans and a t-shirt (must pass the sniff test, though), and some comfortable tennies, or Dockers and a Polo if we are going dressy, and we're good to go.
Hardly fair is it?
Though I do envy women the lingerie LOL. Love the feel of that against my skin. Female outer clothes and especially shoes don't do anything for me, but lingerie feels great, whether she's wearing it, I'm wearing it, or both of us are. Speaking of that, I had a personal first a week or so ago. I stopped by a store named Erotic Cabaret here in Houston, and prominently displayed in their window, facing a major Houston street, was a clearly male mannequin dressed in lingerie and hose.

I have some super hot FtM buddies who I doubles with sometimes. There doesn't seem to be much of a market for them outside of places like NYC and SF yet, but I think that is also gradually changing, especially with all the great FtM porn being made these days and more people coming to know about FTMs. I'm bisexual and I love both men and pussy, so FTMs are often hot stuff in my book. Some of my gentlemen friends rather agree.
