Just think Angelina...now instead of being a simple escort like the rest of us you can add "Escort's Muse" to your long list of accomplishments! I've never had any of my ad/website copy stolen(nor have I ever felt the need to steal anyone else's) so I can't imagine how truly awful it must be but please know that you are dealing with it like a champ and I'm sure you'll make it past this obstacle with the style and grace you have become so well known for.

Angelina,
You said it best when you alluded to the simple fact that "imitation is the highest form of flattery!"

As long as my hideous sense of humor and semicolon fetish is credited, quote away. Not sure why you'd want to inflict that on someone, though.

To me it is like stealing. But in real life there is not anything you can really do about it. To pursue it would be more hassle than it's worth. But I do believe in the ying and yang. Your in the right, they are in the wrong. Somewhere, somehow, without further attention on your part, all will be right in the universe.

Its rampant in the adult industry, particularly among the phone sex workers. If you ever have the time to peruse a few phone sex op boards, you will see what I mean.
The people I feel bad for in situations like this are the gents who book. Many of them may be expecting an intelligent, articulate young lady. What they may end up with is a young lady who is most qualified to ask "Would you like fries with that?"

Try writing something less generic and more specific to you, so that copying it is pointless.

Charles,
All valid points and your implication that plagiarism is rampant in business is so true. After assessing the situation, I feel that I should let it go and hope the lady tries to formulate her own style. If I inspired her (actually, her manager) and the others to run her/his/their business in an efficient, monetarily successful fashion....then maybe I should be happy for them. Just wish they could be a bit more creative...

Nice! ![Smile](https://cdn-w.eccie.net/images/smilies/smile.gif) I suppose there is a big difference when it occurs in different settings. In the hobby, it's not like I can sue these ladies because it would be plain stupid. I think I will suck it up and just be happy for them (but irked to an extent).
Enough about me, I'd actually like to hear from everyone about similar experiences. Carrie was able to shed light on her experience and I am grateful in that I can relate and have to keep an eye out on things. So.....have any of you encountered experiences with the feeling of being copied excessively by co-workers, colleagues, significant others, siblings....and how it made you feel?

Emily,
You are very sweet. The only way you know that someone is copying you is if you can devote a solid 2-3 hours per week reviewing the advertisements of other ladies in the hobby within your respective city. Another way of finding out is if a client leaks information to you (in my case several clients disclosed that a well-known provider in Austin was speaking excessively of me and they felt compelled disclose this to me for safety and security reasons). They were turned off by her to say the least because they wanted to learn more about her and enjoy their session with her and did not want to hear about me.
The lady in Austin who recently adopted a similar name to mine comes from Houston and I believe her manager researched/tried reviewing other Latina ladies in Austin with great reputations on this board and felt that by adopting a similar name to mine or another Latina in Austin with a stellar rep, there could be confusion or the out of town gentlemen who have seen/considered me in the past could get confused. On Eros, her first name was almost identical to mine and actually differed a bit from her P411 ad so I had to "up my game" and place every advertisement I could with a disclaimer including Eros so that my regular Eros businessmen would not confuse Angelina with the other "Angel....". One of my regular clients told me that he had tried setting up an appointment with her a week ago and she was NC/NS minutes before arriving at her apartment (after the appointment was confirmed) and it just makes me nervous that a girl with a similar name is doing this to the very clients/prospective clients I cherish and spoil.
The fact is, all three women who have plagiarized my literature have a very unique beauty to them and I am confident they could emerge as awesome providers if they adopted their own style. If I managed all three of them, I would try to get wind of their personality and accentuate that in their advertisements.
Anyway Emily, I am trying my best to deal with it like a champ.
Thank you!
Angelina t

So true! I almost feel like using her same exact wording in my literature as way of showing her or her manager/pimp how it feels to employ the same use of wording in ads. On the other hand, if her services are lacking then it could hurt my business.
Best solution for me? To take the higher road, but to also be on the look-out.

My thoughts exactly!
December,
Although we have disagreed in the past, I always love reading what you have to say. Very good point! The lady who has adopted a similar name and stole my automated message is having her manager do that on her behalf. On the other hand, there is no way I would trust anyone (manager, booking assistant, scheduler) to oversee my business. I have major trust issues and I also have devoted my life to reading/writing/literature as many of the intelligent ladies in this forum. For someone to steal my ideas/literature undermines everything I have worked hard for and even though I feel like I lack in many areas when advertising (imperfect spelling, bloopers, etc) . I as a provider am not for everyone, but an attempt for her/her manager to confuse my clients or future clients is a violation and should be treated similar to those ladies guilty of bait and switch.
I was informed that this lady who has tried to copy me (provider x) is not articulate/as articulate or interested to speak with the men she entertains. She chews her gum and looks bored. That will never be me. I love my clients way too much to chew gum and rush them out the door. One of my clients discovered she had a manager when her P411 services were not consistent with her actual services and when he confronted her on the issue, she admitted her manager wrote her P411 ad, so I am not annoyed by her but rather her manager. I know that a lot of men are not seeking convo in a session, however, the men who see me definitely want conversation and some level of depth. The ladies in this forum sort of "get" what men want. It's not always about looks, it's usually about the overall connection.
Thank you for always keeping it class, Miss December. Too bad we are only in August.
Angelina

npita,
See, I actually felt that my ads/automated messages were unique to me, but now I will have to brainstorm and make them even more tailored so that any attempt at plagiarism with diminish right on the spot.
Great idea....will have to devote a day to reworking a new website, automated message and advertisement - a rebirth as they say!
Okay, I am tired...I am going to bed! LOL.
