Bingo! This entire episode isn't about BBFS. That subject is just an excuse. The real root of the matter is people who like to argue, get the last word, prove they're right, get on a soapbox and feel superior. It's a slightly more polite way of bullying others just for the sake of bullying.

They'll pick a topic and stake out the OBVIOUS moral high ground and then start pissing on everything and everybody that doesn't line up exactly how they think others should line up. They can pick any one of numerous topics that have an obvious choice for even the most minimally compassionate or sensible among us: Smoking, alcohol abuse, spousal or child abuse, recreational drug use, marital infidelity, etc., etc. Subjects where it's easy to attack and marginalize anybody that could possibly disagree with them. It's called setting up a "straw man"; something easy to knock down. This time, as well as a few other recent instances, it was BBFS.

Coming out being opposed to BBFS at this point is like coming out against drunk driving. Pretty much everybody that's going to get the message has already gotten the message. 30-40 years ago, just like BBFS, drunk driving was pretty common. They both happen a whole lot less now. But you'll never completely eliminate either one because there will always be people that don't give a shit about themselves, let alone others, and are wiling to risk death (their own and other people's) just so they can have a good time they way they see fit.

You know how I avoid drunk drivers? I stay off the damn road between 1-3 a.m. It's not a 100% perfect strategy, but that's when most of them are out there. The only way to be completely 100% safe from drunk drivers is the same way to be completely 100% safe from BBFS providers: lock myself in the house and never leave or let anybody else in. And that's not really a practical option. Neither is the other way to be completely 100% safe from both; Hunt down everyone that does it and exterminate them with extreme prejudice and then spy on everyone to make sure nobody ever does it again.

It would annoy me and anybody else that has the sense to not drive drunk to hear somebody constantly moan about how horrible it is and how people that do it are dirtbags. At some point it's worse than listening to the same damned Britney Spears song over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ... you get the idea. You know what happens then? People with some actual sense will start to ridicule the soapbox preacher and his position. It's not about being in favor of rampant BBFS or thinking it's not an issue to be concerned with. It's about getting the relentless shrill voice of an attention-seekin camouflaged bully looking to feed their lust-for-authority to shut up and let the rest of us enjoy a little peace and quiet.

Providers that offer bbfs should be called out. Hobbiest that request or take part, should be called out. Why? Because they are a danger to the rest of us just as if they came to the appt with a loaded gun. Yeah sure, they might not USE the gun......but do you want to take that risk? I have requests for bbfs, i email back, "hell no." At which time they try to back pedal and say covered is fine. Too late, I'm not seeing you now. It's sickening

I think you missed the point.

The poll was not about BBFS as much as it was about the original posters crusade, and lack of followers for his crusade.

I want to know who all the BB players are. It makes it easier to avoid them. Your example is perfect. He outed himself. You made the correct decision. If you dogpile every provider/client that partakes, then it stays the hidden taboo, practiced but only mentioned in whispers and code words. That same client shows up, never mentions that he has BBed a few ladies that week, with the hope that in the heat of the moment, you wont notice. Even if he doesnt make full BB contact with you, you've already swapped spit, touched his naughty bits, he's groped yours. Too late? maybe, maybe not. The question is, do you want to know who's playing with fire before or after you meet them?

The only problem with that strategy is how does anyone else really know if the accusation is true unless they were in the room? People already post false alerts and/or spread damaging rumors about others that they have a grudge against or have an axe to grind with.

If we all give extra weight to an accusation because it's about BBFS that just encourages every hobbyist that's pissed off because he thinks the provider didn't look at all like her pictures or watched the clock or didn't offer MSOG, the provider gave a last minute cancellation or NCNS, etc., etc., to use BBFS as the perfect retaliatory tool. Same thing goes for a provider that gets a late minute cancellation or NCNS, or had a guy that stayed overtime and didn't adjust the donation or tried to CIM when CIM isn't on the menu, etc., etc., etc.

And let's not forget about the opportunity that the encouraging of "outing" for BBFS gives an agency or provider or somebody that is acting as a puppet to hurt the business of other agencies or providers out of competitive animosity.

Recently, in Austin a "concerned citizen" posted that an entire agency specialized in BBFS. Now, what's more likely? That an agency owner is able to convince their entire array of girls that BBFS is OK and not have a single girl quit and spread the word until this concerned citizen blows the whistle or that the "concerned citizen" is another agency owner or a puppet is lying in an attempt to hurt somebody else's business and gain a little market share.

Most escorts have SOs. And I'm pretty sure the escorts and SOs are doing it BB. And, I've read on this board that a lot of those escorts with SOs in their lives give their SOs a lot of latitude when it comes to sleeping around. After all, the escort sleeps around, so the SO should be able to, also. But I'd be willing to bet that a lot of these SOs think with the little head and may sleep around BB. After all, the escort ain't gonna know he didn't wear a hat.

Moral of the story: it may be the escort's lifestyle that causes the problems, not necessarily the hobbyist.
