I have had nothing but good from BP
Couple bad ones were from VP here that I met from BP.
Monet comes to mind as a bad one. She stacked guys out in the parking lot like cord wood

Are there statistics? Or is this a generalization?
I don't think enough know. I read just moments ago a post where a moderator advised a newbie that STDs are relatively unlikely amongst VPs compared with a BP girl. I think advice that would encourage letting your guard down with any SP is questionable.
I like this site, but I am not going to pretend the verification process is more than it is.

I have been assuming, but do not know, that verification entails checking a little info and that a date ocurred. Bingo, she's in. No one has corrected me on this, but I'd love to learn if I'm off.

Well there's a research project for any of you guys still in college. I've certainly had better luck with VP's. Others have had fine luck with BP. Ultimately the only thing that matters is that you find what you're looking for. As far as the likelihood of STD's, who knows? My guess is it's more likely with BP gals. I only say this because I've encountered BP gals who didn't practice good hygiene. That has never been an issue with VP gals.

Jack, even though this may sound like it, I am not calling you out...
One of the first things you told me when we met was that:
Although I was already a VP here, you still waited to see how things worked out.
You are a smart man IMO.
So, because of your words...
I feel this way on the topic:
VP's are a better chance, because they have most likely started on a place like bp and did well enough to eventually last long enough to discover this site to become verified, plus it can show, regardless of starting on bp or not, it is a good sign that perhaps they care about their biz to become verified on a site like this.
However, where your words come into play is that...
Sure there is a better chance already with a VP, BUT really one can also watch like you did with me, and see if a bp is well reviewed and outlasts without ever joining this site.
It makes sense that any new bp or vp is potentially an equal risk..yet in contradiction to that, I do feel that there is better odds with a vp. The first toft is over, doesn't that make a huge difference?

And hence the long discussion, because Jack does not do that. He is a very patient man even when it comes to vps. So in a weird way I feel like I am calling him out, but I agree with him too 
I am not sure if Jack would see a bp if she had a terrific reputation for long enough? That is an interesting question...Jack?!

I guess you think guys are making bogus reviews of VP gals. That may be true. But the same can be said of some of the BP reviews. Didn't have a clue as to what you are talking about in the rest of that post.

When I post in ECCIE and use the word "statistics", I hope I am allowed to mean "a casual recollection by a senior citizen of the frequency of different review recommendations" - and that I won't be held to the standards and rigor of a scientific paper.
