Luckily on my end, I have never been disappointed with the lady that shows; they have always been exactly true to their photos and reviews I have read (thank goodness). As for my looks, well as said in the movie "she's out of my League"....Im no 10 but absolutley a hard 6. lol

Interesting thread. Guys are very visual creatures. A recent discussion on here actually addressed the issue of seeing providers without a face pic. I think the majority indicated that it was a necessity. What does that tell you about gender differences? On the other hand, in all fairness, I would be happy to provide a pic if a provider thought it might help determine compatibility. And contrary to popular belief, I don't think we all look like Benjamin Franklin to them.

Honestly, I hope I don't disappoint the ladies-- physically or in my performance; but I've never been one for mystery. I try to be honest with the ladies upfront if they ask for a description. I also try to let them know how I perform. From my perspective, physical attraction is important. I kinda like to know what I'm getting into (no pun intended) beforehand. I've been disappointed a couple of times. Even with the internet, photos, and profiles, I've been burned by providers whose age wasn't what was represented in the photos or in the profile-- older photos and little white lies about their age.

Hahah You are wonderful I came across this captivating, self-proclaimed auto-biographical depiction of you Gryphon and I couldn't agree more!
But back to topic - I have been reading the threads in regards to P411's allowance of the clients to put up photos. Now I have only had one client who chose to put up a photo and I'm not too sure how I feel about it. It's a great option and it's nice to know who/what to expect, but I think in the end most will opt out of posting their photos because they feel they will be discriminated against.
Personally, I enjoy not knowing for the element of surprise. Great experiences and new friendships are made much more memorably because of this - you are able to notice things more acutely and as a relationship builds, you learn what you appreciate about them.
Just my two cents!

opus...your avatar is adorable! By the way, I look ALOT like MY avatar!
I have had many gentlemen send me photos via email before an appointment and that was very nice although certainly not mandatory. I never ASKED for said photos, they were just kind enough to send them on their own. It's kinda cool to have a face beforehand.
On the other hand, I have NEVER been one to base a friendship/relationship/attraction on just someone's looks.
When I was WAY younger, I spotted a guy when I was out and thought he was just downright ugly. Long story short, he spoke, we talked, we hooked up and he was one of the most interesting, intelligent, exciting, hot guys I ever knew!
Physical appearance really doesn't matter to me at all. TALK to me, appeal to my brain and we will get along just fine!

Thanks for the compliment, Madison. And, of course, you know where you stand with me . I can't wait for you to get back to KC.
I agree with you about the P411 pictures, not only because of fear of being "sorted out" but also the greater possibility of being found out by S.O.'s, coworkers, etc.
And, of course, I do look just like my avatar.

Rejection is good
I realize not everyone sees things the way I do, but I see rejection as a very worthwhile thing that helps to minimize wasted money and effort.
Providers are in business to make money. Therefore, they have a strong positive incentive to accept a client so long as he checks out okay.
If, in spite of that, the provider rejects the client; it could only be for an even more powerful motive. In such a case, were she not to reject the client, undoubtedly the experience for both would be sub-par.
Why would I want to darken the door of a woman who, given her druthers, would rather I not be there? There are plenty of other clients for her to see, and plenty of other providers who would see things differently.
So I like to give providers every possible opportunity to directly or indirectly reject; and I would never hold it against them except that I consider all rejections permanent unless they were specifically qualified at the time.
I'm not a movie star or Quasimodo. While I would never post my picture openly on a dating site, as previously mentioned I usually provide a photo in advance. This allows to provider to ascertain that it is really me who shows up, rather than an accomplice. And if she rejects on that basis, that's okay too. From my perspective -- I am unharmed. She has left money in my pocket that will be available for a different escort.

I love not knowing who'll show up at my door.. There's mystery all the way around. I'm faceless. They're faceless & bodyless & sometimes you can't really gauge a personality over the phone.
The range from tall, short, skinny, average, lean, husky.. bald, blue eyes or green..
I absolutely love it. I think knowing what they look like beforehand would make me try & read them, or get to know them through the photo, even possibly try & get an idea for the kind of person they may be. I'd rather do that face to face.
Not to mention.. the surprise at the door may have a surprise in his pants.
LET 'IM IN!!

Laurentius, i'm curious as to how many times you may have actually been rejected. I would think rejections would be very few and far between given the dynamics involved here. Unless, of course, someone really was a Quasimodo.
I've had more than my share of blind dates where i could tell right from the introduction that the girl was disappointed and things would lead nowhere. But with providers, on every single occasion i've gotten the sense when the door opened that they were as interested as if i were George Clooney. No easy feat for them, i'm sure.
Needless to say, i've never provided a photo beforehand, but i will give a pretty detailed description spelling out my flaws. One "trick" i use is after the appointment is set, to really downplay my appearance as best and as fully as i can without making myself out to be hideous looking. I like to think that this leads to my actually exceeding expectations, which on a subconscious level, probably goes a long way towards making myself more appealing than i really am.
And while i'm here, not once with the 4 providers i've visited was i provided a facial view prior to meeting. Only once was i disappointed, and that was due as much to the fact that the photos of her body i saw were dated and didn't really match up to what showed up as it was to her face being a disappointment.

Exactly -- given the powerful financial motivator; odds of rejection are quite low. How many people stand outside of their businesses deliberately rejecting customers for ANY reason?
So in practice, rejection is rare or nonexistent. Certainly, never because of my looks. But I've been rejected a couple of times for other reasons.
Still, I like them to at least have the opportunity.

If I may, I'd like to take it a step further...from a therapists perspective (well, a therapist with a twist!).
When a gentleman is lying on my table, he usually begins face down while I work on his back. All the while I am doing the massage, I am building anticipation as to what his member will be like!
Then, when I rub between his legs, I LOVE feeling how he becomes hard and begins to squirm on my table. MMMmmmm MMMmmmm! I can hardly WAIT for him to turn over! It's HOT!!!
