Sadly, I actually thought
A Knife of Dreams (the last Jordan WoT book) was great and felt a lot like the early WoT books in terms of pace and feel (you could really see things moving and plot lines starting to get wrapped up). I liked the first two Sanderson WoT books, but I found
A Memory of Light sadly lacking mainly because of the rushed feel to the whole book (of course, this may not be entirely Sanderson's fault due to having to end the series with that book).
So yeah, I'll keep reading Song of Ice and Fire, because I'm fairly invested in the series now these days, but I'm not going to keep my hopes up given how
A Feast of Crows and
A Dance with Dragons were. Dance making Daenerys so shitty was particularly irksome to me.
