I don't remember how much she weighed. I DO know that she was the second-best looking girl in Donna's Greenhouse. I had gone there to drink a beer with the rest of the crew of my boat but I had no intention of partaking in the ladies - really, I didn't. She turned into a party animal and a mean drunk. She cursed out these five Korean gay guys on the dance floor of a Karaoke bar and the shit hit the fan. I told her to head for the back exit and I flew out of the window in the unisex bathroom (on the second floor). The dudes hit the main exit and found me just as I landed on the ground - and the chase was on!

The girl made it back to Donna's and told the whole crew of my ship ... "Arv has been attacked by Korean bennie boys!" - which caused them to all go into battlestations mode tearing up Chin Hae to find me. I was on the boat asleep. Those dudes didn't catch me.

Arverni, I completely believe that could have happened not only to just about any gaijin w/a soft heart in ROK, but esp. you. I mean it: I believe it. Esp. the part about the about-face when you pay her fine after she's been whining the whole time--suddenly she wants to party.

I got called some very unpleasant names in either Portuguese or Spanish by a girl (she was South American but I can't remember if she was a Brasilero or not--I'm pretty sure she was) in a "club" in Spain awhile back--everyone heard her. There was silence. Then the REALLY HOT Moroccan girl standing next to me turned to me & said, "So... you want to go upstairs? I think you look clean. And nice." Absolutely to this day probably the best sex I've ever had. One of the few good decisions I've ever made after two drinks.

BUT this reminds me: for those of you who WEREN'T in the USN, or any of the other services, just remember the difference between a Fairy Tale & a Sea Story: A Fairy Tale begins "Once Upon a Time..." A Sea Story begins, "Hey, man/Sailor/Troop: this is NO SHIT. So THERE I WUZ..."

LOL - that's just he way I am. If I recall correctly - her barfine was only like $40 bucks or something ridiculously low like that - for the entire night. Sooo - I figured this would be cheap chivalry to get her out of the bar and get some sleep.

As it turned out - she was pretty nice to me and took to me a lot of bars that U.S. GI's just never visited. It was quite an experience and - a culture shock. We danced a lot. She was a mean drunk to others we met - but she was sweet as pie to me.

So ... for $40 bucks - or whatever it was - I got this "Hong Kong No Shitter" of a Sea Story to tell for the rest of my life. Not a bad deal!
