Fishing is my favorite hobby......but not fishing in the water. I rather like fishing for pussy best.

Looks like my freaking fishing trip is going to be canceled. Winds are going to be blowing to hard forcasting ten foot swells right now. I'm madder than a skin head watching the Jeffersons right now. (Larry the cable guy reference.) Guess my fishing expo is goin to be from the shore. THAT BLOWS! In a bad way not the good way. haha Getting ready to go to sleep I have to be there at 6am tomorrow morning.

The news can be viewed as good news I guess. I was disappointed though because I found out that my tumor is still there and still the same size. The disappointment was because last time they made me think it was not cancer and that it had gotten smaller. He pulled up my last three scans and they are all the same size 27mm in size. They are going to do another scan at the end of July. Every three to four months until it grows bigger then they will decide what course of treatment to take. So if I am looking at it as the glass is half full instead of half empty I can be greatful that the tumor didn't grow any more.

Fishing expedition was cancelled due to the weather. The wind was blowing so hard that there were ten foot swells. So instead I went to Sea Wolfe Park and fished on the pier. While my father caught two black tip shark that were 14 and 17 pounds. I on the other hand did not catch a thing. The only thing I got was a HORRIBLE sun burn. I even put on SPF 60 four times but, it did not make a difference. So I am a little sore right now.

Thanks everyone for posting on here.

MDA is one of the best and the people there really care about the patients.

Take care of yourself and let us know how you are doing.

DANG.....The last two months have just flown by and it is already time to head back to Houston. My next series of test start on June 30th. I really don't like the long notice they give you. For one whole week you sit and wonder whats going to happen this time. Will this be the time that I have to stay and start treatment, or do I get another three to four month reprieve. Only time will tell!

All the best to you Poppy. I hope and pray that you get good news on a reduction in size. MD Anderson is the best for what you are going through.

Poppy, I wish you the best. Please let us know how it is going.

Aren't there any Houston providers that do outcalls at MD Anderson?
