I'm not gonna lie...I do reviews for premium access. There have been so many dishonest reviews, here, that I don't feel generous enough to post more than the minimum.

Every time you post your IP is logged... not just reviews. That's what I meant by April Fools.

Review describes exactly what you did in exchange of money. I am not a lawyer but assume thats a legal defination of prostitution. That is like serving evidance on a silver platter. How ever being part of the board and discussing things does not qualify you to be subpenaed.

How on Earth does one get arrested simply for writing erotic fiction? <bats eyelashes innocently>
And as for the infamous Houston thing-- what caused the problems were ladies doing EXACTLY what they were not supposed to do in public. Soliciting, unmentionable activities, and public nudity. Yes, LE can infiltrate anywhere. But you have to actually break the law in their presence for there to be a problem.

If a Provider does a good job, I believe she deserves a review so that others will be advised. Like any profession, their are good and bad. I look at the reviews to help in the decision of whom I will see. By not writing a review, you are making it harder on your fellow hobbyists.

On the list of why people write reviews, "helping their fellow hobbyists" isn't even in the top 5. Here's my guess to what the Top 5 list would look like.
1. Kissing providers' asses in the hopes of increased mileage.
2. Living out some absurd fantasy of becoming a bunch of anonymous mongers' folk hero on a whore board.
3. Hoping that if they publish it, the providers' fake orgasms might become real.
4. PA credit
5. In the case of negative reviews, hoping the provider they just trashed and had a terrible time with will give them another terrible time, only for free.

Just a personal observation. I think negative reviews are harder to write because of the potential backlash. I recently wrote a "no" review on a popular provider. She came back at me in the coed section and both the review and her post were shut down. But, since that time, three providers who operate in the same geographic area have all refused to talk to me ... providers I had cleared with, was talking to, and had plans to meet. Do I think she poisoned the well? Obviously. She also clearly lied in the coed post but I could do nothing about it. I don't blame the mods. It becomes a "he said, she said" thing and nobody wins. Guess it's just part of the hobby, but it's just easier to skip the "no" review and get on with life.

Ftwjoe, can you cite an example of a guy getting arrested solely based on writing a review? I suppose it is possible if the guy admitted to a felony, but pretty much everything described in Eccie reviews (if they happened at all) would be considered misdemeanors at best. I'm of the opinion that LE would rather have us continue writing reviews as basic research in their efforts to determine who to investigate for possible felonies, vs busting a bunch of johns for misdemeanors based solely on mostly fictional accounts posted on a SHMB.
As far as the eternal struggle between those who post reviews and those who don't, I've learned to appreciate the guys that pay for PA rather than earn it. I've been getting a free ride for a dozen years thanks to these bill-payers, and am more than happy to provide the "sweat equity" in the form of reviews from time to time.

I'm a BP girl and I specifically ask for no reviews. I have a 90% return rate and more regulars than any of the gals I know - which isn't that many but I'm one of the newbies and on any given day know that I have 4 return clients coming in within the next 7 days.
I don't like reviews because I don't need men trying go reach me based on another's experience. Reviews are subjective..the clients I've had this far have really had to find me. My ad is very different, no pics, no contact number - it requires work to get in touch. The ones from Eccie don't come based on an ad, they come based on something I've wrote - a clear indication they are literate and not just interested in 'sex' ... It's all in the advertising. Some gals make a ton based on their skills and some guys come just based on skills - for them it works.
People hobby in all different ways for all different reasons. I've had many clients tell me I'm the only gal they've seen more than once and I have many clients tell me they like that I don't have reviews.
The experience should be organic - not scripted. What client #1 experiences when he enters the door, isn't the same as what client #2 experiences. Yesterday one client had a body rub then gave me tax advise. The second brought lunch, I taught him the East Coast swing to Elvis, he asked to play with my dog and then had a body rub.
They will both be back...repeat business is what every business owner should strive for. Turn one appointment in to three. No reviews needed for that. I personally feel the men who consider reviews a necessity, the least likely to return - they enjoy the variety and that's fine. I'm not for them and they are not for me.
I've heard from many that the gals give incentives for reviews - that deliberately speaks to the integrity of the reviews itself. Subjective.
I know two providers around my age and in the same general proximity - we've seen a lot of the same clients. Two of my loyal regs seen them each only once and wrote a good review - they didn't write me one but come back, often. I'd rather have the latter any day of the week.
As a matter of fact, those girls have each raved about a client they consider a fav. He contacts me for appointments and I blow him off - I didn't enjoy him. The one client that I enjoyed so much I actually now date (or let him use me bcuz I'm an idiot..not sure) they each did not really find anything special about him. He's a 'typical hobbyist' they said - I think he's the most incredible guy I know and I'M VERY SELECTIVE. The way you have your favs, so do we - reviews really say nothing...but I do understand for the men, you are PAYING - it is imperative you don't get ripped off by 20 mins, get set-up for a robbery or show up to see a lady who misrepresents herself in pictures.
