Totally ripped off....guy skipped without paying.
As a side note....before the skeptics arrive.....I considered that her convo was a ploy to hit ME up for something more......but, as I said, I like this girl, and could detect nothing to make me believe anything other than she screwed up, and the guy saw the opening and skipped without paying.

I don't really buy into the whole "I didn't get what I wanted......gimme a discount thing....."
When I voice a complaint, I want nothing in return other than the problem to be fixed. And, I'll probably address the issue when I choose to see her again. Or, more than likely, leave it alone. But, I'd never tell her in an e-mail...that's too cold for something as personal as hobbying is.......cripes, you girls aren't a corporation you;re people!!!!

I agree with that.
It would only work if both know each other so well as and a few is not a killer. And that takes years of frequent flying . mmmmm and reason not to use most of my reviews as a guide.

You seem very kind and understanding! Your story and empathy for the situation is amazing! I like how you address part of your post to the stiffer. I wish the right gents would read the cause of a provider's lack of professionalism in certain cases.
I get it. She should of been more professional, but "yes" she is human and maybe the experience of being ripped off made her upset on many different levels. It is not a clients job to console, but because you allowed her to vent, you may have made the next guys appointment better...( yikes ..sorry)
But, atleast bless your heart, your immediate patience may help her gain confidence and professionalism back.
Again, I understand that is not what clients should deal with. Yet, to understand some providers are still learning the ropes makes for a better provider. To address the situation privately and constructively IMHO would have the most positive results. And for being such a BIG person you deserve a pat on the back in my eyes! xo

Where in the rules does it say you pay the provider first. I will place the donation on a table in plain view for her, but it does not get collected UNTIL the appointment is over. If the provider doesn't like it, then she will have to find another client.
Yeah, I know, the girls get stiffed. Guess what, so do the guys. It is a 2 way street. Come on elghund, you have no right to be demanding an apology from the guy. He owes the provider an apology and the provider owes you an apology for being completely unprofessional.

Sure I woulda been pissed.......but probably not as much!!!
But I still woulda been posting that the guy sucks, because once any provider gets stiffed, it makes things tense for everyone.

As far as being unprofessional? Well, thats an opinion. She was upset, and rightfully so. She was distracted, yes.....but still tried to take care of business, so I don't see her as unprofessional....just human. Or do think that providers can't have real feelings?
