I agree with SL. Paying for social time is like buying a friend to me. If the only way they will spend time with me is if I pay them then I would rather not be with them. Sex is an activity that can't be expected form a friend so paying for that I can accept.

Dinner dates are common for those gents who enjoy the actual experience of a courtesan or seasoned escort. It's not just about jumping in the sack for a few minutes of bliss, switching positions, and taking turns giving head.

I agree with the total experience point you are making it is just that paying for social time would ruin the experience for me. It makes it way to artificial.
Now if I had lots of money, which i don't, maybe I would look at it as paying her so she does not have to work elsewhere but that would be a stretch since I know providers are not working 8 hrs a day in most cases.

I think there are several ways to look at it. If the guy takes a lady to dinner and pays for it, that is some form of compensation right there. I get it that some guys like the "courtesan" experience. I might be willing to even try it once, but I would hope that the lady would discount her BCD time or not charge for the dinner time. After all, she does have to eat at some point, and here is a nice gentleman willing to pay for her dinner. And, yes, I do get it that girls have every right to structure their fees as they see fit.

I have found that when I book a 3 or 4 hour date and we go to a nice restaurant for dinner on the clock, the lady often forgets how to tell time later in the evening. I never expect it, and she doesn't owe me anything past the time we agreed to, but it is a common result. Rarely does she have anything scheduled after a long evening date.
The other thing I often do--especially with a lady I have not seen before--is arrange a couple hour session and then on the way out tell her I'm going to get some dinner. If I think I would enjoy her company I ask if she would like to join me. About half the time she will say yes. In that situation I consider it clearly off the clock.
Contrary to what some guys might think, the ladies in this business are people, and if treated nicely and honestly, they often respond nicely.

That has been my experience as well. If they were not such nice people I would not want social time like dinner with them.

If my appointment is around a meal time, I will sometimes ask the lady to join me before or after our time together. It is a great way to get to know the person better, which only improves the BCD experience. Not one has ever even suggested that I pay for their time .

Hey, I resemble that! What are you thincking about!
Now, here are my on topic comments. Dining with a smart attractive women is a great treat but never before game time. A good dinner with wine makes me sleepy.
It's hard to justify the $$$ to pay for a dinner date. A handful of times a lady has joined me for dinner if I'm the last customer, but the time is free, but even a light dinner in my town can be $100 to $200, so they are getting some value.
I often have packed a light supper, cocktail party meal with Champagne or its more affordable cousin, Prosecco. I bring things like lobster rolls, short rib sliders, seaweed salad and home made chocolate mousse. It's a great way to make the session into a real party, it gives you time to get to know each other, it shows that you appreciate the lady and it is a change of pace for them. You have to book a longer session but it can lead to awl kinds of fun things, like mousse bagging. You don't see that on too many activity menus. Again, it has to be a light meal or you risk losing your energy level. But there is nothing more decadent than sipping some good Champagne while your nude and happy companion is feeding you white chocolate mousse.

It makes the sex soooo much better. A girl needs her fuel and time to warm up and get to know you better. The better she knows you and once you "click" the sex becomes something ever hotter. I don't fuck strangers for money, so dinner gives us time to become friends and then lovers. Plus, I have a rep for wrecking a room, and I need lots of fuel to do it.

I do more dinner dates than anything else, but I don't charge out the ass for them. I also will never eat before, as I am at my best without a full tummy. I am one of those who is actually more nervous talking to a guy, than getting naked with him lol. So, for me, dinner before does nothing but work my nerves. I prefer to go balls to the wall, THEN actually be able to relax over dinner without having to worry about how much I can eat for drink because I have 2 hours of sex after the meal. I am with awl4not on this one....eating makes me sleepy, so I do it after, then can be alone to go to bed bwhahaha. Don't even ask me what happens on an overnight, but I don't do many of them.
I also do dinner after, not to burn up a guy's time. I have read reviews of 4 hour dinner dates where he only got 45 min. of playtime because she insisted on spending 2.5 hours at dinner, and then the drive time back. That is simply unprofessional in my market, and the reviews would certainly reflect that. If the guy insists, that's different. I like to make sure he has two FULL HOURS of play, then we can extend our dinner time if needed, but I won't skimp on the play time for a meal.
Many guys like the date experience, so don't judge them for that. It is their money, and their time to do with as they please, just like your time and money are yours to do the same.
Many women make a living off of longer dates, so there is no need to question them or the guys they see. If it's not YOUR thing, you're not being forced to do that, but don't fault a girl for getting hers.

Nah ... You just need to have your cookie chewed correctly and your taint tickled.
If I am hungry after an appointment, regardless of time, I will often ask if the lady is hungry, too. If so then off we go.

As a change of pace, a couple of times I opted for long dates, which for me, means dinner and/or social time, and BCD time of course. I immensely enjoyed the dates, and I paid for the experence, the whole date, and did not focus on how many dollars for dinner, and how many dollars for bcd. It all gets lumped into one charge.
