And they are not staying in one West TX city the whole week. They can be there for a day or two in Lubbock, then for a day in Midland and a day in Abilene. So , I feel a provider must be allowed to post once for each of these cities. This will solve a lot of problems and it will be easier for both providers or hobbyists.

A list of cities need to be prepared for West TX so that the providers may post for each of these cities once a week in the West TX provider ad thread.

My listing of the West TX cities would be ::

Amarillo
Abilene
Big Spring
Midland/Odessa
Lubbock
El Paso
Fort Stockton
San Angelo

I think this will be a win win for all !! I sincerely hope and request the mods look into this !! Thanks !

None of this is necessary. Almost every provider knows where she is going to be in the week. You can list your cities and dates in the one single ad that you can put in the regular provider forum each week. You can also do a weekend ad where you can list where you are from Thursday to Sunday. The two ads are plenty to cover a week's period. We do not need ad sub-forums like the metro areas do.

Plus, ladies can PM me or CK to amend their existing ad if travel pans change. We do that frequently.

As far as I know, Ft Worth is the only ad sub-forum around. It is just not a problem, as has been said.

Also, Fuck Amarillo.

IMO the W TX forum is unwieldy because of its size. Seems to me it would be better if broken up. In particular, El Paso shares geography with Las Cruces, NM. They are both within the Border Patrol "immigration" checkpoints, which is an issue with some providers, according to a Dallas agency with which I spoke. EP is way far from any other TX city, but only 1hr from Cruces. So they are in different states. Why should that matter? EP/Cruces is like Midland/Odessa or DFW.

If the W TX forum were broken up into 3 or 4 separate ones, it would help with the issue of what city are we talkin about here. At least narrow it down, and be helpful in many other ways.

Sounds like they are using illegal alliens. No other reason for it to be an issue.

As far as dividing the forum, it has been discussed for more times than you can imagine. Both on here and on ASPD. When ASPD started, the same discussion came up and the answer came clear. Their is not enough board traffic in El Paso to support a forum. Nothing will kill a forum faster than dead space. You have to have traffic to get traffic. You are much better off in this format than by yourself.

Not really. They call them "immigration" checkpoints. You might notice a bank of about 2 dozen cameras recording incoming traffic. Outgoing, you may be searched. Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson and Fiona Apple, all USA citizens, all busted at the same "immigration" checkpoint.

As for the rest.....I guess. But which is the cause/affect? The low traffic or the unwieldy forum?

a few years ago the home office called about visiting my job site in El Paso. (I cover the western half of Texas). The lady talked about coming a day early to visit some friends of her's and asked how far EP was from San Antonio.
She was rather shocked when I told her it was 'only 8 hours or so and most of it is at 70-80 mph'. Her comment "it didn't look that far in the atlas!".
Ladies, it does help to know WHERE you will be as well as the when.

The forum is NOT unwieldy. All the provider has to do is put the city. That is so amazingly simple.
